I'm all teared up with your reference to your mom and the AI photo of her. That was so beautiful. I lost my mom in August of 2020. Miss her very much, praise God we will be reunited one day. Hopefully soon.

I don't actually often draw a landscape. I prefer to catch the light and shadow by focusing on a detail and transmitting my feelings through the prisma of foreground spot. But I often watch your tutorial videos to learn new tips and techniques. I love experimenting with papers and materials. Thanks, dear Susan.

You have inspired me to try and paint mountains. I live near the Canadian Rockies and love them so i understand you love for that view as well. Ive always felt a bit intimidated to tackle painting them with pastels but i think i will give it a go! Thank you for this and i enjoyed you sharing about your sweet mamma.
I'm so grateful for the positive responses using AI technology to create ref images. When questioning whether to try something I often think, "Would the old masters have done this?" And I absolutely think the impressionistic masters (such as, Monet, Van gogh, Degas) would have!
