I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasnt been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 Cookie I've not seen since March 😢 But I live in the hope that they'll return one day 🤞
We now have three fox cubs coming. All three are very pale in colour at the moment, but I'm sure that will change as they get older 🦊
We also have two hedgehogs at the moment, Monty and Peggy. They come every night as well 🦔
Biscuit was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰

Hello Everyone! Pigeons are very smart and trainable! So are chickens/roosters and many other birds. People don't give them the respect they are due. They also are not filthy birds. I'd dine with a pigeon anytime after I see what people do with their fingers that's been in their nose or other torrid human parts at the grocery stores!🤢

You know watching you hand feeding Cybil just now it really struck me how we always talk about how all your Critters Trust you but we don’t always recognize how much YOU trust THEM, not to bite you or hurt you in any way! We saw with that accidental bite you got at Second Chance that it can be serious so the trust works both ways, doesn’t it? And you’re so Open and Fearless, Debs, I admire you so much!! @@debs3289 My love of all Animals usually makes me pretty relaxed even around “newcomers” but I must admit the Flock of Seagulls (the actual birds not the rock group although their HAIR was pretty frightening 😂) intimidate me because they can be quite aggressive about grabbing food from people. 🕊️😻

I am beginning to wonder if JJ might be brave enough to take food from your hands. I suspect he might be brave enough to eventually get to that point.
I have been thinking exactly the same for a while now too. Wouldn’t that be so lovely for Debs and for us too! 🦊💕
@@lindahoffman2692 Yes it would be nice, and I think JJ is brave enough. My only real concern is if he'll be staying around or moving on in a few months. It's hard to tell with foxes and usually (but there are exceptions) the parents only allow one of their daughters to stay.
I will attempt it with him at some stage. I just hope the little fella does stick around. As you say, George, you can never tell 😕

Morning den mum. Jimmy and JJ remind me so much of Baz and Jimmy' s relationship. Jimmy was daddy's boy with Baz following him everywhere learning from him and JJ is exactly the same with Jimmy. Baz you raised a good son and he's raising your grandson the same. You should be proud wherever your hiding. Wow definitely getting busier at the overnight take out. Aww Cybil is so gentle with you. I see you didn't move the traffic sign and look what happened a car parked right outside. It's mot good enough den mum these cars have to go lol. Helllo Debs with your wonderful animals. I also still have my foxs and my two cute hedgehogs are back after at few months.
Debs I had a roommate at school years ago called Freda who was cheeky and clever like a fox. I sometimes called her Fred for short. She had a big personality and was known by the whole school. She had Cystic Fibrosis and passed away before her 18th birthday. Can I suggest either Freda or Fred depending on if it's he or she as a name for Tiny if you're going to change it?

It's hard to treat him as i never know when or if he'll turn up. None of the rescues will come get him either as it's not broken and there are no visible injuries 😕

Curious how all the females seem to be smaller than the males. ChipChip, Biscuit, Daphne and Tiny all were the smallest. I wonder if its genetic, because i've seen other females as big as the males.All are becoming fine specimen's of Foxes, and you can easily see their different personalities 🤗

Mr Chicken , Junior Chicken and Little Peggy are first for the chicken. Maybe Junior Chicken is looking up on the window. Maybe he wants to play with Norman and Kenny. Cybil only likes the best peanuts. Despite Kenny eating from the plate, Junior Chicken still eats the chicken pieces. Jimmy aka Mr Chicken it seems he knows his name. Hi Debs, I have a suggestion... if that tiny fox really is a female, how about calling her Mini or Minnie, referring to your assessment of the small size of this FoxGirl.
Tiny is a derogatory name, change that to Tina. That way if “she” grows it won’t be a poor name.
I don't like Tina as a name, so for now, it's Tiny, and a lot of followers would like me to keep that name. I don't know why you think it's derogatory?
@@debs3289 Would you like to be called tiny if you were small? Sure, they are only foxes. And you should name them whatever you want, you work tirelessly for them and I’m sure most of them consider you their Mom. We rarely see them in CT in the states. You are lucky 🙂
Hi debs foxes good footage love how you try different things question? how much food do you put out with cooked chicken im putting chicken out and its not seeming to go nowhere i dont want too be a main source for them but i just wondered so i don't run out and some visitors come and get nothing as one visited takes the lot i have however had a new visitor recently i told you off the hedgehog i think its female because i had a baby come into the garden so nice too see, I've also used my phone likes you too get footage off any animals i see and posted them videos along with my other videos caught on the overnight camera im pleased too say many visitors do come more than once and i get new ones very slowly enjoy watching your videos thanks you for posting if you have any tips and can message me back with afew for feeding be great as could use some help too make my garden and the food nice for them too enjoy and hopefully more comes From Julie im on RUclips too through Julies eyes ruclips.net/channel/UCpYPhc0lc4RMS1xrs3Z3Ghg
