I'm just a normal everyday lady who feeds friendly wild foxes and squirrels that come to my garden. Under no circumstances am I trying to tame them as pets or allow them into my home. I am also NOT a fox rescue service. However, I do now help out at Second Chance Fox Rescue. They turn up of their own free will. Being urban, food isn't always easy to find, as not many areas for them to hunt, so I like to try and help them a little if I can. They are not totally reliant on me and haven't lost the ability to hunt for themselves. I will give them medication when needed for mange, infections, and pain, but that is under the close eye of the fox experts 🦊
ChipChip, Jimmy, Pip, Daphne, Ringo, and Howie are the regulars that arrive most evenings. Basil hasn't been seen since the end of November, just as mating season started 😪 Cookie I've not seen since March 😢 But I live in the hope that they'll return one day 🤞
We now have four fox cubs coming 🦊
We also have two hedgehogs at the moment, Monty and Peggy. They come every night as well 🦔 And then there's Cybil the squirrel. She's just so cute!
Biscuit was the first fox to befriend me back in 2021. Unfortunately she passed away Sept 1st 2023 and she is sadly missed by everyone who got to know her 😢❤️ I'd like to thank The Fox Angels Foundation and Second Chance Fox Rescue for all the help, support and advise with trying to help Biscuit. And the continued support they still give me. I can't thank you guys enough! 🦊🥰
