Not quite freedom, but certainly a lot more happiness than she has experienced before.
Seeing mostly sky over her head is probably terrifying. Thank you for saving her. This is proof of harm of institutionalizing living beings.
How, at the end of the video, she went back inside her enclosure where she felt safe, and laid down on her back, just made me incredibly sad. Best wishes for this lioness.
It Was A Ton To Process Everything.. It Is A Lot Of Work. Time To Take A Nice Nap. The Lion Is Fine.
It is a shame to all of humankind that these wild creatures are still kept in cages.
Whenever I hear someone call another human an "animal" I can't help think it's more of an insult to animals!
But they have a safer life. Not attacked by other animals. Food & medical care provided. 🙂🙋♀️🇭🇲
in the wild, 2024.. they're in extreme danger from humans.
@@darilynadams7281 BUT NOT IN A GDAM CAGE!!
@@emmapeel8163 Yeah, because humans have overpopulated the world, taking away natural habitats. 8.8 billion and still growing. Enough already. Plus, legal protections of both domestic and wild animals are lax. Great species, huh? NOT!
That' a good looking lion
Worth it…And she’ll be back out at her pace/her time/her comfort zone. Give her 6 months and she’ll be this confident Queen of her territory.
Please post updates of Yuna!!! We need to see her living as if she has forgotten her tragic past. 🥹🙏❤️
Shes gorgeous and she'll be happy ❤
I’m speechless, thank you thank you thank you. ❤
Brave girl. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. 💛
Heartwarming to see Yuna exploring her new and amazing surroundings.
Made me cry. Poor Yuna. Thank you all.involved in her rescue. Let's hope her lion friends meet her soon. Her pack.
Tears of joy and sadness, joy for her finding a whole new world, sadness for her and other captive animals who have never experienced freedom. ❤️
Beautiful and so sad at the same time. Grow strong girl. ❤️
It breaks my heart to see such a beautiful cat so wobbly and unsure, but I am so happy that she has a life now and that in a very small way (donation), I was a part of her journey. Okay, who let in the onion ninjas, eh? ;-) Thank you, BCS!!
Thank you for contributing to her journey home. ❤
I think she's been sedated for the journey.
Not using the muscles will do that too. Now she can get strong
At least she's safe and protected, she just needs to feel this way, too. She'll be taking care of ❤❤❤ gratitude to all her saviours

Not in that small yard.
She needs miles square to roam around.
With trees, rocks, shrubs, grass, a pool, and a water fountain.
And toys.
A leather "ball".
And a leather bag on a rope & knot.
(Someting to mimic a dead prey, for her to drag around).

Love from Norway 👩🦳🇸🇯
What a beautiful Queen she is, thank you for taking care of her… Humanity is waking up to our true treasures…
Just came home from a 2-week African safari. It was incredible. I don't think I ever want to go to a zoo again.
aza zoos are not the enemy ..privately owned wild animals in the US is a monstrous business. There are more big cats privately owned in the US than there are in the wild. Laws must change
I stopped going to zoos and the circus about 30 years ago when the truth about the animals treatment was brought to my attention. I did a bit of research and came to the conclusion that some humans suck!!!

I want to go on a safari... one day
What a beautiful thing to behold! I can't imagine a lioness being in a place that doesn't even allow her to go outside and be on grass. Just a wonderful moment of courageousness on her part. Now a whole new world awaits!
She’s so brave…she seems content indoors.
Habituated
She feels familiar with it, she's lived her whole life in there. She'll go back out when she's ready, and get more comfortable with it. It's a process.
She'll learn.
Not content. Conditioned. Poor beautiful girl.
If this poor lioness would have been left alone with her pride she would not be going through this. In order to get their hands on her they had to have killed her parents. The lion is there to protect the lionesses and the Cubs this is really sad to see a beautiful creature afraid of grass.
If you want to see these exotic creatures as they're called save your money and take a trip to Africa were you will see them roaming free and in the wild.
I hope she can enjoy her life if possible👍
With tears streaming down my face I want to thank all responsible for giving this beautiful animal a chance at life.
Thank you so much guys 🥲
Poor animals. These people are angels. We live in a cruel world and the cruelest are humans
This literally made me cry.
Thank you, BCS for saving her and hopefully the 5 more.
🦁❤
It’s quite moving trying to imagine the thoughts that must be going through her mind.
Oh my goodness, she is being so brave! Her instincts are kicking in leading her to seek higher ground to investigate from. All in all, a good first outing.
Aaannnddd…I’m crying! Tears of joy for her - what a brave girl! Thank you for being the opportunity and support she needed to have this experience! Here’s to many many more days of exploration, empowerment, and freedom! 🙌🥰❤️🥰🙌
I.M crying 2! So incredible seeing her taste a bit of freedom 4 once N her life!😅
You know the character of a human based on how they treat animals .
Simple as that
Agreed .
I almost cried when she went back in the cage. Hopefully that changed.
This made me cry when I read rescue lioness I have a 8 yr old cat and she was rescued when she was a kitten someone abused her so when I took her in she was afraid of everything even “hands” I left her alone for a while just so she could adapt to her new environment and eventually she came around and we were inseparable she’s still a bit timid being around people but has came along way I wouldn’t give her up for the world
Lovely to here you have bonded with your cat rescue animals are always heartbroken but I'm sure you have mended her heart ,😊
Oh gosh! She's beautiful. Thankyou for rescuing her ❤
The world needs more people like you, the Lord and Mother Nature will bless you ❤
Yuna is magnificent, thank you Big cat sanctuary for everything that you do. You guys are wonderful and kind people.
Lions!! The iconic apex predators suffering in so many ways thanks to human activities and desires. Soooo good to see her going back to her self and into nature. Thanks BC and all your supporters for this result ❤❤❤
Thank You and God Bless You!!!
God Bless all of you at the Sanctuary. Long live Yuna!
Welcome to your new life, gorgeous 🥰😍
Bless her heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️
So glad Yuna made it safely to The Big Cat Sanctuary. 🙏
Moved me to tears watching her first moments. You can see how overwhelmed Yuma is. Thanks for sharing❤❤
That see what humans can reduce a magnificent proud animal into is unfathomable but good prevailed and it is pure gold!
I’m in tears😢… what a beautiful moment… free at last … so thankful to all those who’ve made this possible.
