      Ya I missed them too. This summer got busy and I went MIA. River was really low and few times I went out wasn't anything going on. Did get into some largemouth in the boat but mainly was just chilling with the family. Next summer I'll make sure to not slack. But yes ice fishing is here and new content is on the rise! Enjoy and take care. Merry Xmas.

    question from a mild temperature area guy. How do you know if the ice is strong enough or not?

    • @tom.northshore
      @tom.northshore Год назад +2

      If it's at least 2-3in, you should be ok. If you fall through, eh, it sucks, but for the first 10-15 minutes, you have so much adrenaline running through your body you don't even feel cold. Just wait until there's at least 8-12 for snowmobiles or trucks

    • @BryanProkuski
      @BryanProkuski  Год назад

      4" is considered "safe" ice so anything that thick or more is good. You didnt see in this video but before I filmed I checked the ice all the way out to where I was by drilling a hole and then walking so far and checking again to make sure im stillvgood.
