    That's some great footage as usual. I don't think most people realize how analytical pike can be, can't help but wonder if a single hook would've got him. Like you said he felt that treble each time he went for it, bait was biting back haha. Great vid.

      First time using it so still early but yes this shot appeared more green then the 7i. I will need to use it few more times to get an idea where it stands. I also plan on doing a comparison video of the 2 units so we can see the difference.

    • @BryanProkuski
      @BryanProkuski  Год назад

      I would say my HD7 has a better picture quality as in shows more definition and color but not sure they are trying to compare with those units. It does however still produce a great picture and the unit itself I love more. Not big and bulky, Awesome 8" screen, Battery life goes all day and I can record.

  • @mikefinnegan7469

    Love the video thanks for posting. I am looking to get a camera and am agonizing over which one to get. I was set on getting the Marcum Pursuit HDL because I wanted the best camera quality. It will likely be used mostly in my wheel house hooked up to the tv but I liked the idea of the portability for scouting. Then I saw the Aquaview AV822HD and like the Idea of the bigger screen in case I didn't always want it hooked up to the TV. If you have any recommendation or insight between the Marcum and this one could you share your thoughts? Thank you

    • @BryanProkuski
      @BryanProkuski  Год назад

      Thanks Mike! It's a tough choice. Both are really great cameras and have awesome quality. I would say maybe the Marcum has little better quality as it might show little more color but I love the Aqua Vu for its bigger screen and camera reel. I have been getting this question a lot lately, so today when I was out fishing I did a side by side comparison so you guys can get an idea of which camera you like better.

    When the pike are being low energy/less aggressive, try downsizing your lure and moving a little bit slower. That'll trigger a bite a lot faster than flailing it all crazy right in front of him.

    • @gennarodeluca5521
      @gennarodeluca5521 10 месяцев назад

      Agreed, I think a little more patience and letting the lure sit more still when it was in front of him would have triggered a strike. It’s like the pike was just calculating his strike and then you moved so quickly that the pilke had to recalibrate again. If it was still, he would have calculated his strike and then attempted a hit.

    Here's something you may want to consider re: coaxing a fish that's unwilling to commit: use an attractant-especially one with glitter.
    Here's something you may want to consider re: your first time viewers, subscribing, and *not* using phrases like those at 5:09 / 7:57-why? While most could care less, some [like me], will bail if they think that casual cussing and "oh my God" will be the norm. I'm sure this seems lame / funny to most, I get it-but I also get what they don't i.e. the fact that they don't care b/c they're blind. Sadly, it's only when people are face/face with Jesus Christ that they'll realize the truth/cure was found in the Bible. Interested?
