    Buteyko breathing method is good for sleep apnea. Closing off of the airway is the body's reaction to hyperventilating while sleeping. When someone is sleeping, they should look very quiet and still. When one starts to breath heavy, the body then starts obstructing the airway because one is actually hyperventilating.

    Curious, I have UARS / Sleep Apnea, it was untreated for many years, it caused gut issues (ibs-type symptoms like incomplete evacuation). Finally I have started treating my UARS, how long does it usually take for the gut to heal/restore? Is it more like weeks, or does it takes months/years?

      Great to hear you're taking steps to treat your UARS. What do you mean when you way you're treating it. How well your GI symptoms respond depends on how thorough the treatment is. Oftentimes you have to combine multiple modalities. And doctors only offer more conservative options, which tend not to work as well. In terms of timeframe, everyone is different. But what's more important regarding timeframe of healing is how well your UARS is treated.

    Have you looked into mewing, it explains the facial photos you put up about narrow faces, jaw sizes and palate issues?

      Mewing and other oral and myofunctional exercises are great complementary options for everyone, but even when it helps, it's only a mild effect. There are different levels of permanent jaw/airway enlargement. #1 is to optimize nasal breathing. #2 are tongue and mouth exercises. #3 braces and slow palatal expanders. #4 is surgery assisted palatal expansion, and #5 is jaw surgery.
      The best way is to start even before you're born, optimizing maternal nutritional and airway health and removing toxins. Then after delivery, breast-feeding for as long as possible, eating hard and nutritious whole foods, and avoid toxins. These are ideal conditions that are challenging for modern people. There are a lot more steps, but these are just sample examples. I talk about the reasons why our jaws are shrinking (with crooked teeth) in other videos.

      Besides the countless medical complications from glyphosate exposure, here's one specific way it can potentially prevent your jaws (and other bones) from growing properly: Glyphosate blocks proper production of chondroitin sulfate by binding manganese, which is critical in development of cartilage and bone.

    @Doctor Steven Park are there Natural Cures for Sleep apnea, like losing weight or sleep postures etc ?

    • @doctorstevenpark
      @doctorstevenpark  5 месяцев назад

      I mentioned in the video that there are lots of different natural/conservative options for sleep apnea. Weight loss is the most important, but a significant number of people with sleep apnea are skinny. This is an unconfirmed observation, but every obese person that I've seen has a high arched palate with dental crowding. Poor sleep promotes weight gain, and it's hard to lose weight if you don't treat sleep apnea. All the conservative options (many of which I cover in other videos) do work to various degrees, but it's not consistent. The only way to see if it works is to try it. But in general, these options don't address the sleep apnea completely. It's important to stay off your back while sleeping, but there's much more nuance to this issue that takes a lot of time to discuss.
