Personally I mix my watermelon with lime but for those that prefer lemon, to each its own. watermelon and lime is a sleeper it taste like tropical juice, its very delicious.

Given that you have the Nama, can I make a suggestion?
Take some of those peels (the zest) and juice those too. That's where all the lemon oil is and it will take the lemon flavor up a notch and you will get all the essential lemon oil which will be really good for you.
I used the entire skin and now I’m pushing back to just use zest the way you are speaking of! Thank you! The entire skin was just a bit much for me lol
But lime with watermelon…just takes the taste to a whole new level 💯

Save the lemon skin and boil it to make lemonade or lemon tea with mint leaves or dehydrate it and make a powder.

It is! I love how it tastes! Try honey or date syrup as well! The dates are an organic sugar! 💪🏾❤️
That juicer is a beast! I got mine back in March of this year and have been using it since. I haven't juiced this combination but best believe that is up next for me!!

@12:25, my grandma always thumped the watermelon, she always said the more hollow it sounds the more ripe and sweet it is.
The rind got a lot of nutrients as well, I do the whole watermelon

Love the video. No more fickle lemons if you do this:
Chop the ends off and use a stainless steel Y shaped veggie peeler or peeler of choice to just get the skin off. The white pith has lots of nutrients to juice as well. Cut in half and put it in your Nama J2.
Take the thin skin you peeled off and treat it like lemon zest for a recipe. You can also put it in a pot with water add some orange, lime, or grapefruit zest, cinnamon and other spices. Your kitchen will smell amazing….naturally.

U had me at watermelon! IM INFACTUATED WITH IT❤. I keep 4-5 melons during the season and cut n freeze so I can have during the Winter. Thank u. Make ginger lemon juice. 1 whole bag of lemons and 2 ginger roots. I like it spicy 😂😊

Seedless fruit is gmo. All fruit naturally produces seeds. I had to get my seeded watermelon from a guy in a truck on the side of the road! He was charging $12 for the same size watermelon that you have. I paid it but will never again. That was too much for a darn watermelon. With that said, it was damn good! I juiced mine without lemon. Next time i will add the lemon and skip the agave.

$12- is a bargain for seeded. No store in my area sells seeded. I had to travel hour away and it’s 20.- for medium size and 25.- large.

Great tunes that’s the biggest watermelon I’ve ever seen in my life and all of the lemon oil is in the skin so if you grate some lemon rind outside, it’ll give you the most beautiful lemon flavor from the lemon oil.

You can also juice the entire watermelon!! Wash the peel off with some baking soda and ACV. I always make a separate container for the rind but some juice it all together. OAN, adults use to tell the girls that we will get pregnant and have a watermelon baby if we ate the seeds...And we believed it 😂 SMH at the foolishness!!
They used to tell us that in 1st grade we would turn into a dang watermelon tree! 😂😂😂 I know your childhood was special from this comment alone! I will start juicing the rind, probably break it down before I put it in the Nama. 💪🏾❤️

I like to put watermelon 🍉 with lime too! Im so glad u posted this because i read a book that said its not good to combine them
I’ve never had the feeling to combine the two but people here say to do it all the time. What does it say about not combining them?
@@YouGotThaJuiceNow that melons should be alone or with other melons. And acidic fruits should only be paired with subacidic fruits like apples and pears. But watermelon on its own is too sweet for me so i like to add a little lime in there

This is my first time watching any of your videos. I kinda stumbled upon it. So I’m watching and listening…and waaaay before you mentioned being from New Orleans I’d already picked it up in you. Even though your accent is turned OFF in this video, I know the little nuances and subtleties of New Orleanians and our communication patterns. The more the video went on, the more I heard them. I can tell you’re living away from the city and have grown differently due to new experiences outside of the N.O. That’s my story, as well. But no matter how long we’re away, it’s always home and it’s always within us….and it doesn’t take much for it to pop right out, ya dig?! Fuh sho.😉 Great video and I’ll definitely be trying this juice recipe tonight!! Thank ya my brudda!
