El concierto homenaje a Freddie Mercury para el conocimiento del sida (The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert for AIDS Awareness en inglés) se celebró en el estadio de Wembley (Londres) el 20 de abril de 1992, cinco meses después de la muerte de Freddie Mercury, y reunió a 72 000 espectadores, siendo retransmitido por radio y por televisión para 76 países. La audiencia estimada de la retransmisión del concierto fue de 500 millones de personas, y la recaudación de 20 millones de ₤. El objetivo del evento, aparte de homenajear al artista, era concienciar a la gente sobre la existencia del sida y recaudar fondos para la Mercury Phoenix Trust, la fundación que crearon el resto de los intengrantes de Queen tras la muerte de Mercury.

Hay muchos cantantes así pero no todos, el tema es que debido al morbo que generan son los que lideran las listas mientras otros cantantes y grupos NO SOLO ROCK se quedan en un segundo plano, no es que no exista más buena música es que NO SABES BUSCAR bien, y sobre esos cantantes de hoy en día has pensado en explorarlos? ¡No! Escuchas una sola canción que hable sobre sexo y ya está todo lo actual es horrible, como si yo ahora escucho “You Could Be Mine” o “One in a million” y digo que todo el rock era así de sexual y racista.
Explora, te gusta el rock? Muy bien a mi también pero eso no significa que no puedas escuchar otra cosa a mi me encanta Guns pero también escucho a Rosalía, Dua Lipa, Chayanne… explora bien la música actual y entonces hablas
