Question i have the api luna console emulation and i want to use this minus the preamp in unison and want to know is it possible to turn the preamp section off of the manley but still use the other sections as i like the api micpre

Would someone be able to explain to me how having the compressor before the pre-amp works? I can’t really wrap my head around compressing the signal before it even runs through a preamp, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that signal path anywhere else before? Thanks in advance!

When I use the unison part with a tlm107 I am always obliged to increase the input towards the middle and also the output over zero and the gain 55 or 60 to have the signal towards - 18 dbfs for recording. If I use the manley vox presets my level daw is between 30 and 24. I don't know why

I'm having the same issue. (Running WA-8000 > Apollo Twin X Duo > Apple MacBook Pro M1 Max) I have to increase the input signal in order to have decent levels to record, but I hear way too loud sizzling and buzzing. There's no way that's part of the analog color of the Manley Voxbox. It can't be.

Yeah vocals are very important when it comes to music people pay close attention to what's being said what the story lines about what the song is consisting of instrumentals are nice but your average person is always listen to what the story lines about in the song

I have same issue with the presets. Really low signal with what the presets come in at. Even with a hot condenser mic

why is the source input in the gain stage is set to mic input but from compression on it is set to line input?
Just different applications while doing the screen captures.
