Really liked this video with sound advice and such dignified humility! I feel like this can be said to many other aspects in life, congrats on passing FAR! I am studying for it now, it is so much information and I'm not the best test taker. Thanks for making this video and will definitely be heeding your advice.
Way to go! Thank you for making this video. I studied all day during this weekend, having a panic attack thinking about brutal simulations in the exam.
Thank you! You'll be fine! The simulations aren't much more difficult than the ones becker gives you they're just longer, just take a deep breath and take them one at a time and you'll be fine!
I truly appreciate your kind words at the end especially. I'm a full time working single mom and i've been studying for FAR almost a year (a bit embarrassed) this Pandemic didn't make things easier as I had to home-school my son and adjust to working from home. I've been feeling extremely discouraged but I'm honestly motivated to pick up my books again and start pushing!
Thanks man, this video is really encouraging !!! I just started studying FAR and I'm working full-time. So far my plan is getting up around 4 a.m. five days a work and studying 2 hrs each morning before work. I haven't been able to add evening studying so far because I'm always tired after spending almost 2 hours in traffic getting home. I've been out of school for about 3yrs now so getting back to studying mode has been challenging to say the least but it's slowly coming back to me. I've been trying to watch the lecture and take notes but it's not really working for me. So I think i'm just going to read the lecture at my own pace and forget the videos altogether. I'm giving myself 2 months to just read the text and take notes all my notes. After that then I'll begin the review process and practice exams . Excellent video and I really appreciate the advise!!!
I appreciate how you ended the video and put the scores in perspective. I've felt very pressured to score very high but I also work full time. With that being said I think I wont be as hard on myself now. Thanks for the great discussion!
Hey, I just want to say thank you. I am gearing up to take FAR and waiting for my Becker review to come through. Thank you, and i wish you the best.
You can do it! Focus on them one at a time, knock one out, and then onto the next, all of a sudden you'll be done and will never have to worry about it again

Thank you. It was good to hear from someone who used Becker. I have 3 kids and trying to do this and definitely been questioning if I can. Hi Sean, Thank you for making this video. I keep toying with which review to go to so it was nice to hear from you. I do have a question. I was reading some articles where people have studied with FAR through 6000+ MCQ's. Did you do that many? Is that how many Becker has in that one section? It has been a long time since I took accounting. I mean a long time. Perhaps you did so well because you just finished your degree....

I did about 4-5 practice tests a day with 33 multiple choice in each test and no sims
What type of Becker Review Course did you get?
Which Becker package did you buy? And does anyone know if i can buy the online study materials only without the physical books?
I don't remember the exact package, but it was the cheapest one they offered, I believe you can get the online materials by themselves
@@SeanTodd thanks for your quick reply bro. Just another question should i buy it now and start studying or wait for my credentials evaluation? Which i have no idea how long will it take since the universities i have studied in have to send these docs
@@xabadi398 depends on when that process gets started, if you aren't cleared to take the exam no point in studying as you'll learn everything and then have to figure out how to retain it for weeks on end
Did you feel that the questions on the actual exam were easier than those on beckers?
Yes for the MCQ no for the SIMs
Great...
is it only me who feels that only simulations make the topic more clear??? some topic are kept unclear in lectures
Simulations definitely help you apply the learnings from lecture to real world examples
Hey Sean, did you have to take the test in person or online?
How do you study multiple choice?
How to pass FAR in 30 days: study 7-8 hours a day
Hayden Tucker my secret is out🤷🏼♂️
Did you do the final review section at all? How long does it take if you did?
When you say you went back and did the sims how did you do it? Did you watch the master video along with it and then just keep doing it until you didn't need to us their video to help or did you just know everything? I just started my study and I look at them and they seem like so Intimidating. Once I watch video I see that it's not as bad as I thought but still kind of hard to figure out the information. So long story short how did you handle learning them?
How much time did you spend on each testlet
