I'm studying for the CPA Exam and I'm also using Becker. Your vids help a lot. I'm doing the same method by diving into MCQ first and use Sims for part of the review. Your success stories inspire me. Thank you for sharing ❤
I think it’s fair to say that anyone with free time to spare (40 hours a week) is highly likely to pass all 4 sections of the CPA exam. There’s no special study method
I disagree, takes an insane amount of self discipline to sit down for that amount of time and actually study effectively. I know plenty of people who still haven't passed and took those 40 hours a week to study
I will have my bachelors this year in business with the accounting credit needed . I have been an accountant for a solar company for 3 years but never worked under a CPA so now i have to find one to work under for 2 years before i can take the cpa . itll be ok though 💜 im looking to own my own firm before age 40 and im 33 so ive got time ❤️
This was very helpful video. I am planning to start studying for FAR. How did you keep yourself motivated? Sorry if you already addressed this question. I’m going through your other videos now. Looking forward to your next video.
I love your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your strategies, tips, and guidance. I am at the beginning of my CPA journey. Do you have any suggestions for getting the best deal on Becker's study material?
If you sign with a larger accounting firm they should offer you a discount or pay for it entirely, if you aren't signed then I would just buy the cheapest version you can!
Sean you inspire me so much. Keep up with your videos and tips and honesty. I find out that I am tired when I come home but I am focus in the morning. What do you suggest?
Hi Sean, I’m studying for Audit (first exam of all) while working and also going to school part time (taking an Audit class) and I’m wondering if you feel like a specific topic(s)/processes in Audit is more important to really understand than others? I heard IT to be tested heavily but I know each exam is different so I was wondering what your thoughts were about this? Any advice or insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Thais Moulin have you watched me video about passing the audit exam? I would suggest starting there to see the topics covered by the review course, IT is a decent portion of the test but you need to know everything not just IT in order to pass
I appeared for FAR today. While solving the exam I did not click on "submit teslet" for the last 5th teslet and time got over. I solved all the Q in that teslet. Will it get considered or not ?
Hi Sean. I start work in July. Taking one last summer class for that 150. Do you have any recommendations for taking notes on a laptop? I usually take hand notes but I don’t think I have the time.
Do you read the annotated book online or the non annotated? 18 hours of study a week is 72 hours in a month. I think I need way more time to read and understand the concepts.Cudos to you.
Hi bro thanks for your efforts, Tomorrow I will take my first exam (FAR) I need to recommendation from you, if you don't remind 1) I did the 3 test simulation I got 43/62/60 are they good enough to pass the real exam? 2) I give the first 3 testlet before the exam 2 hours and the remaining 2 hours. So, 45 min each testlet, but I am facing a problem that in all of 3 test I finished the exam before half hour. What do you recommend for the time management Appreciate if you can answer me by today as tomorrow morning is my exam.
Ammar Fathi I’m sorry I couldn’t answer the question before you needed but since all I can give you is assurance now, you will be fine!! Those simulation scores are good enough and the time management strategy would work too

Just use a word document and keep it organized with headings, highlight any info that you think is necessary
I got rid of all my notebook. My backpack is light. I carry only my laptop. Feels weird
thanks a lot for posting :)

Naiane i read the non annotated, it’ll take as much time as you need for you to be comfortable with the material, everyone is different!
What do you mean by you read the lecture do you mean like you listen to the lecture or you read the book?
I read the book off the website, I don't listen to the lectures
