You are the man! Wifey killing me over two weeks to mow the lawn. After following your detailed directions and with tlc and patience I just mowed the lawn. Thank you. Does this mean wifey will chill out now? Only until she finds another chore for me in the near future. Lol. Gracias amigo.
🤣 🤣 🤣 Glad we helped you out my friend. I learned many years ago the super secret to a successful marriage.. All you need to know is just two words.... "Yes Dear"
One of the fastest and most proficient carburetor cleaners I have seen yet. It's a good thing. He explains the important points and slows down with close up shots to illustrate them. This good old boy is a real professional, Great job. Although I didn't see him check the oil! 😁👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 One thumbs up for every time you said y'all! Thanks for you great video, it made it easy to fix my carb!
I have never mowed a lawn in my life but I grabbed a broken m110 lawnmower out of the neighbor's trash just to see if I could fix it. This video is all I needed 💪
Thanks for that tip at the end it’s what actually made my mower work the kill switch was stuck I bent the thing up and it started first shot other then I have to stick a flat head to shut it off but not a big deal better than taking the carb apart ten diff times for nothing you got my grass cut today Ty very much !!!
Couldn’t start my daughter’s Craftsman until your tip on removing the jet part of the carb. Cleaned it out and bingo, started first pull. Amazing video!
❕❕Thank You T-Bone❕❕ After sitting all winter, I tried to start my lawn mower. It caught on fire! This video was exactly what I needed to fix it. Thanx again!.
I want to thank you for your videos, I've learned a lot about small engines watching you, I can build and work on cars just never messed with mowers. Keep up the awesome work and keep those videos coming.👍🏻👍🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
Raley , Buddy you nailed it ! This is the best informative video on this carb I have ever seen. You went straight to it , Dit everything exactly in order and then back together . T Bone you are the MAN. The Lawnmower Man . Keep it up Bro
I have been working on my mower ALL day. You video is by far the best. I am going to try again tomorrow. A guy at O'REILLY said maybe my float is bad but this mower has identical guts to mine so I have a little renewed hope. Thank you.
i have seen guys pop the check valve ball out too because gunk can get stuck between the tube and the ball....especially since that gas was full of crud...great video
Can you please explain the purpose of and how the check valve ball operates. I have this exact mower, cleaned the carb but couldn’t figure out what those silver ball were for. Thanks
I fix mowers for neighbours. I haven't had to dismantle a plastic carb yet, but now I am ready when it finally happens. Thanks, and cheers from Canada.
I’m glad I watched this my ground cable was stretched . The last thing you mentioned about the lawn mower 7.25 husqvarna with Briggs and Stratton engine . Thank you T Bone for the information . Got me fixed.
This is the best video I have found. I am not a mechanic but I watched this and followed step by step and it worked. Saved myself a little money. Thank you so much. William in Texarkana, Arkansas
I like the new camera, sort of shaky cam, but I get used to it. I think a slight tilt down on your head strap and you are golden. Say Hay to Ms T-Bone for me. Cheers!
Thank you, yes I thought the same thing. Gonna work on getting better with it, I'm a slow learner LOL I will be sure to tell Mrs T you said hello. Hope you are well my friend.
Thanks all I needed to know was how to get it apart without breaking something I didn't know it was a bunch of O-rings but thank you thank you thank you. thanks especially for getting straight to the point.
Thank you so much for this video! I've never worked on a lawn mower a day in my life! I found that there was debris and water in the gas causing my mower not to start. You're a blessing!
Thank you. Yes forehead gonna work on doing better with it. Thanks so much for supporting us. We only have 4 more subscribers to cross the 10k mark 😀 Thanks to viewers like You
My Craftsman Briggs and Stratton mower quit working just 6 months after getting it. I was unaware of how bad ethanol gas was for small engines, especially if it’s been sitting around for a while. Going to clean these jets and put in new gasoline and see if that works. Thanks for this video.
Watched a video before yours. Let me tell you, your explanation is light years ahead of the other guy I watched. Going to do this tomorrow. Wish me luck y’all!
Thanks for the video T-bone!! Easy to follow directions and made my chore a lot easier. I was able to live up to my prediction of getting this done a lot quicker, impressing my wife. You the man!!!
Mine was a different model carb but basically the same. Ty sir. Neighbors lawnmower wouldn't stay running. I knew it was a fuel issue. Took carb off , dismantled it and cleaned as you stated. Reassembled and whaullah. Ty again
I never knew that plastic tube came out I’ve watched a lot of videos about this carb and even cleaned one out,(I was successful in the mower running but I think I’m going to take the carb off and clean it again and take that tube off and clean the emulsion tube, I need to do a deep cleaning anyway so I’m going to do it while I have it apart thanks for the info
I got a Walmart return one time in a lot of push mowers , it was a new mower and cleaned the plastic carb a couple of times . It had a miss that just couldn't get out , ordered a new cheap Carb from Amazon and installed it - it fixed the miss . I sold as an almost new push mower , so didn't mind putting a new carb on it . I've worked on a lot of these plastic carb's and 99% time just dirty .
I like to use dielectric/silicone grease on all O-rings since it’s already on my bench for other uses. I also apply some any place two plastic parts rub on each other.
Thanks you just showed me something that I didn't know on them carbs. I know what the problem is with mine. I didn't know the jets came apart. Mine runs good till it needs more gas. I bet them small holes are stopped up. I enjoy watching your videos.
Just a shout out for advice you gave me about the NIKKI carb and how to fix it. Buy a Briggs & Stratton OEM carburetor. Thank you , Thank You , Thank You,. I tried two rebuild kits. Then a chinese knock-off carburetor and then a chinese knock-off Walbro carburetor. They improved some over the NIKKI ( which is really a crummy carburetor ) and then I took your advice and bought the B&S oem carburetor. Runs like a Rolls Royce. I thought it was my poor mechanicing but when I installed the B&S carburetor, all was well with the world. The reason I didn't do it right off is because I had not seen YOUR video. Now I'm a believer. Again , Thank You.
Great video. Enjoyed the new camera view. Your approach is methodical and goal directed. Mechanical ingenuity at its best. Enjoyed complete video. I always learn something new everytime I see you perform miracles. Thankyou Sir.
My 2 year old Toro self-propelled mower kept stalling. I replaced air filter, gas cap (no vapor lock), cleaned carb just like you did, cleaned gas tank, replaced gas and spark plug ( it was fouled black sooty). Carb was clean, no dirt no clog. It still stalled just as bad. Then I tightened the self-propell cable. Now it runs like a demon! No stalling, no carbon fouling. Starts right up. All because of that cable being a bit slack.
I'm pleased to say that after following your instructions & getting a new spark plug, it started up on the first pull. Thank you again for the video! Have a great day.
Good tip about the choke lever hanging up against the metal bracket. I have come across that problem many times especially with Husqvarna mowers. Good video. Thanks.
Thanks for the video, great information! That old double bone GM spark plug socket for the 3000 series V6 cars - I've got one knocking around somewhere in the toolbox too.
You're welcome. 😆 I bought them from Snap-on in the early 1980s when I was a technician at a GM dealership. I have them in 13/16 and 5/8. Gotta love em
