Fred is a damned rockstar. Not only does he have a cool trim saw and derelict, monstrous band saws; he also had a disused stave silo.
Haha, I don't know of anything Fred does NOT have!
Hi Jason, You & Fred are always fun to watch. Even learned a few things today! Stay safe. Jim
Thanks 👍 Glad to hear it!
It's obvious that Fred takes his refreshment at the sharpening bench.
Haha, yeah there are all kinds laying around his work areas!
he is a man of refined taste though......he had the fancy beers and he even had the glass bottle Mexican Coke with real sugar.....Fred knows his beverages
Awesome set up :) Especially the sharper.
Glad you like it! Thanks for watching!
I think you should move the blade maintenance to own own video. That s very interesting on its own.
Good idea! I will make Fred walk us through a full blade cycle in a future video
Awesome setup. It looks like they need to spend a day or two on tidy up though.
Yep, agreed. Its a little cluttered and messy, but Fred does a great job!
@@SJForestProducts I've seen piles of machinery start rusting away, from beneath piled sawdust/ soil/ dirt/ etc - the debris seems to keep it damp. If you clean it/ blow it off, it seems to keep dry and not corrode.
Into the hammermill and then to the shaker table. Oh wait... Hey Jason, do you have a shake mill as well? I mean Cedar.
Haha, no shake mill, but I would like to get one going!
Isn’t the bend in the teeth for clearing out the cut as its cutting? 🍻👍
Yes it is! And opening up the kerf so the saw blade doesn't get pinched.
Does he repurpose all the sawdust for paper or anything??
He has a friend come and get it for animal bedding
I don't care what anybody says you should guys do a h*** of a job I like the machine I wish I could afford that's probably about a $90000 machine but it's nice
Thanks!
