Breathtaking, Norm. I love mail and express trains, especially with RPO rolling stock. Picked up a bottle of Vallejo Black Grey today and it is a great color! And really good to see the Vallejo masking liquid being used, I am going to need to get some of that. So much better than fighting with painter's tape in some situations.
It was smart modelling the northeast, as there appears to be a lot of 3-rail stuff made for those prototypes. More so than lines in other parts of the country, I think. Great work as always! It'd be a lot of fun putting scale mail and sacks into a car like that
Norm, do you think you could discuss your layout lighting at some point. I watch your videos repeatedly and the lighting really compliments your weathering
Just found your channel, absolutely beautiful everything, love it all, detailing, weathering. What I'm hoping to achieve with my layout. Looking forward to more videos in the future, makes me think i should have gone 3 rail. If possible, what makes are your models? compared to Lionel, and or MTH. Your models are more detailed.
My father used to work for the USPS and sorted mail on a mail train between New York City and Buffalo New York..... loveya Dad....missya

Amazing work Norm 👍
Every good passenger train needs a brace of head end cars. The mail car is always one of my favourite.
Any interest in getting rid of those lobsster claws.....I have a few HW cars in need of them!!!!
Thanks again for the weathering info!!!
Kool 🚂😎👍
Love it
You could solder in a capacitor for keep-alive on the LEDs.

Thanks! I run quite a bit of Lionel and a bit of MTH. Most of my engine projects lately are 3rd Rails.
