Welcome to The Fab Forums. My name is Kyle Voss and I produce Custom Motorsports Fabrication content of all forms for you. Carbon Fiber, TIG Welding, Metal Shaping, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Custom Choppers, and everything in between. I work hard to bring you new content on a weekly basis.
Here are some of the builds you can find on this channel.
I have built several Chevy trucks on this channel. The first was my 1964 C10 named Crown Spoyal and the most recent C10 truck project was the 1969 I currently have named the Black Pearl.
I am also finishing up a custom twin turbo Ford Mustang build I call the Gray Goose. It’s a 400 cubic inch Windsor style engine with twin 70mm turbos. I am hoping to make around the 1000 horse power mark to the tires on this particular build.
Last but not least is the one off custom hot rod build called the Bibbster. This is what I call a modern day hot rod. It’s made from an old Ford Mustang foxbody, but made to look like an old school open wheeled hot rod.
I also feature other fabricators and shops like Cutworm Specialties hand formed aluminum wide body kit for a BMW e46. Jeb Greenstone has also built a twin turbo, coyote powered model A style hot rod from scratch, and is currently building a Toyota TE72 wagon drift car powered by a 1UZ Lexus v8. Jeb’s custom fabrication skills are fun to watch and always make for good videos.
Check out my playlist to see some or all of these builds.

Thanks for the info... Went to Dollar General and bought a tub of Oxy-Clean for 5 bucks... If it didn't work I could still use it when washing clothes... Mixed a small scoop in a measuring cup with about a cup and a half of water... Then got some rags and paper towels... First try... Bingo!!! Worked like magic... Went over all sticky surfaces twice... Everything looks brand new... Thanks again...

    * Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash) used in Oxy Clean and as a Pool pH Buffer work for this. The pool buffer doesn't have the sickening sweet smell of Oxy Clean. Isopropyl Alcohol works too. You need to reseal it with a Plastic Restorer though or it comes back. I used Car Guys brand. Worked great ! 👊😎👍

The stickiness is actually your interior oxidizing or "un-mixing". Just like steel rusts or aluminum turns white or a copper penny turns green, everything mixed will separate, oxidize, or return to it's original elements. Tires turn brown and headlights turn white or milky for the exact same reason. You are trying to remove the plasticizers that are seeping to the surface with the accelerated help of heat. Naturally as these ooze out and we clean them off, the parts will distort, shrink, and eventually crack - it is part of life. Once clean, put a good protectant on that contains UV inhibitor back on the parts. Thanks for the tip, I will try the OxiClean. I routinely clean my interior with Woolite and water because it is gentle. One tablespoon of Woolite to a gallon of warm water. Clean windows first, hard plastic and vinyl surfaces second, then seats, and finally carpet. Every time the sun shines on the car after cleaning interior with Woolite and water will leave it smelling amazing for months after.

Sodium Carbonate is commonly called washing soda such as Arm & Hammer washing soda. It's with the laundry soap at the store usually. It's a very good all purpose cleaner.

Used your how to video to clean the sticky vinyl on an old massage table that hadn't been used for several years. I was amazed how well it cleaned with an Oxy clean type product! Thank you!!!

  • @dmj2020

Four minutes in before you say it Oxy Clean? Four minutes?

I can't find oxiclean here but I found regular baking soda for 85 cents and I used a tooth brush and removed the sticky off immediately and this advice is AMAZING. I guess baking soda is a pure form of sodium carbonate.

This works, thank you. Just bought a 1997 RV with icky sticky seats. Cleaned them with Mr Clean...still sticky, soft scrub...still sticky. Oxyclean...worked like a charm.

Genius!! Tried every type of cleaner/conditioner I could think of to remove a tackiness that developed on the vinyl of my 10 year old car door. Even went to the “experts” at O’Reilly’s and tried their $15 solution to no avail. But stumbled across this video and boom! The oxyclean and water mix worked like a charm! Thank you!!!

I'm very serious when I say you're damn good, you need to make many more videos. So many people fail at this, but you have a good personality and the camera likes you. I was searching for fix to entire dash of my 2003 Volkswagen Beetle to fix for sale and you gave me the ultimate answer. I'm subscribing to your channel for sure and will lead others to you!

I have that shit all over my 86. It's stripped down right now but glad I saw this tip to remember for the future. If you ever stop making videos never take them down. They help a lot!
