    I like Federer for the way he plays but also because he doesn't grunt and doesn't do over-the-top celebration everytime he wins a point.

      @victormanuelbustamantealva6803 safin has more slams than him lmfao and masters don’t mean anything, neither do top 10 wins in this garbage era. As if a win over someone like Fritz is supposed to be impressive.

    • @Alexx22570
      @Alexx22570 3 месяца назад +1

      @victormanuelbustamantealva6803 Difference is that rogers generation won slams whilst the 90's generation who novak faced have won the least amount of slams in tennis history. an entire decades worth of shit players, roger faced slam winners who weren't technically and mentally inept.

    • @Alexx22570
      @Alexx22570 3 месяца назад

      @victormanuelbustamantealva6803 Yes im fully aware but most of them had a winning H2H against roger before he entered his prime. Roger than overcame them and rose to new heights, that does not make it a weak era. They disappeared due to injuries actually but faced federer many times.
      The difference between rogers generation and the current one is that rogers generation wasn't regressive. They were good and talented enough to beat sampras & agassi at slams. In comparison the joke of a 90's generation cannot even beat a finished Djokovic & nadal doing victory laps.
      Not being good enough to beat a completely finished big 3 is the worst excuse ever and as a result the 90's gen is the most SLAMLESS generation to ever exist. Without a doubt a weak era. Rogers era was never a weak era.

    Now I understand why Medvedev found it hard to ever say that Federer was the GOAT. I’m not starting a GOAT convo here. I’m happy to have witnessed Roger’s career, I’m sufficed with it. If Roger has ceded the status of GOAT to RN or Nole, they are his worthy successors. But this was back when Roger was still playing. Medvedev never called him a GOAT. It makes sense now, knowing what he had to go through when facing Roger!
