All that debate about most number slams or what not... The amount of skill that is needed to play this kind of tennis has only been achieved by one person ever. Where Novak and Rafa try to play the most solid tennis and watch their opponents make unforced errors, Federer goes out to actively create winners to finish rallies, some taking multiple steps to set up. to be fair consistency has always been the key for top players, it just isn't anymore. Even players that were not winning slams were consistend in the 2000s.
Players like Berdych and Ferrer for example, were in top 10 for many many years without fumbling, even Tsonga who was a bit less consistent, was still playing well for the majority of the year. Honestly dunno what the problem is for players if this decade. They probably just have too many useless things inside their head.

In first 3 years of the 2020s (2021-2023) there were 14 different players.

Also destroys Zverev on that indoor grass court in Halla to win it for the 95h time. People don't realize how by tennis slowing down ALL the surfaces and the balls it reality fucked Federer. They wanted to make it more competitive and it worked. It wasn't until they slowed it down that Djokovich and Nadal got any foothold outside of Nadal on clay.

Djokovic with the 3 - ZERO record on Federer in the final title matches of the ATP Finals - players usually complaining they are too fast those courts. Same 3- Zero as at Wimbledon title finals. Federer lost to David "0 masters titles" Goffin in the ATP Finals semi with a lay-up final vs flaky Dimitrov waiting. Djokovic at an older age beat Alcaraz and Sinner back to back for the the ATP Finals title for a record 7th win. Sinner would chew up and spit out 2017 Goffin for breakfast. And of course talking about Zverev, he beat Federer 4-3 in the head to head including beating Federer at Halle, Shanghai, ATP Finals... Halle was truly the land of pigeons for Federer - across his 10 titles he beat a grand total of 1 single Top 10 ranked player. Bublik beat 2 Top 10 players on his way to the title in 2023 😂

I think that I missed Federer and Nadal so much that I am playing their matches and training everyday on RUclips. Next Gen in Tennis is still unpredictable and still be shaped into a fine players. Hopefully some of them, will no longer smashed their racquet, involved in doping scandal unintentionally, cursing the linesman etc. And counting days for another dramas to come. The impact is too great to Tennis.

Federer es mejor tenista, se ve. Quizás si no gana siempre es por la edad, su condición física no resiste tanto un partido largo como un tenista joven

To be entirely fair to the youngsters (as here it really looks like it was just lambs to the slaughter), Tsitsipas has a 2-2 H2H against Fed and Zverev - 4-3. Daniil is 0-3, but all those 3 matches were in 2018 and 19, before he improved and became a regular fixture in the GS semis and finals
