I can transfer my photos from my iPad to my laptop with a USB cord, but can't transfer my photos from my laptop back to my iPad. Why is that?

Not sure why I always need to sync. Why can't I just move stuff from the iPad and that's it.

This is so stupid. I have ipad and search this tutorial online and found yours. Never have this much difficulty with android. iPad is pretty good but so stupid for simple stuff like this.
