Over the years, I’ve watched many “how to” videos, but I wanted you boys (and you’re boys, because I’m an old lady), anyway… to know, this was truthfully the best video I’ve watched. I had my old iPad in my lap watching it, with my new iPad right beside it, while checking all my settings beside it. I kept stopping my old, while I could make changes on the new. If I didn’t do it this way, I would have forgotten some of your wonderful information. Thank you so much! Plus the blond boy was cute! 😊

BOTH cute, but the "longish scruffy look" of the beard is somewhat of a distraction to that; [I feel] he would be best served (look a lot hotter) by maintaining more of a "few days growth" scruff, with any thinning/strays sculpted out of the upper cheek area.😉

Another great video. Light haired David, you played the counter part greatly…we know you already knew those settings.😉 Dark haired David, thank you for your clear instructions. I appreciate you both! 👏👏👏👏TY

That was so cute; you said you were an old lady. How old are you? 38? I adored your comment. You made me smile today, thank you. Have a beautiful day!
PS: You are on RUclips commenting, etc. You are not old. You are cool!

I was able to turn off some of the ones you suggested but I also have some I wanted to keep on for my own personal reasons. Most of the critical ones are now off, but others were left on for my own personal reasons, and the fact that I have already checked off for only while using the app. I’ve got lots of games on it and some I plan on deleting later in the future. I’m hoping what I have recently done has helped my battery perform better.
I was also wondering how I could choose to lower the graphics on a couple of my games, since one went to a higher level than when I first played it, asking for more graphical effects than when I first started playing it. Eventually I plan on deleting it and transferring it to my new computer. 👍

I also paused, jumped back and forth between YT and my Settings. I’ve been having problems with my battery. Had way too much stuff opened! I’m 74, and maybe a wee bit more “tech savvy” than I give myself credit for! OK, OK! That translates to “I know who to ask and where to look!” 😊

Please do a video about optimising iPad memory storage! Music & Photos gobble up a lot: don’t want to lose Music, but is there a way for photos taken with iPhone to be saved to my Mac but not to iPad? Maybe I’m not using iCloud the right way?

Thanks for the great tips. I had previously disabled some, but you suggested many more. When I get to Turn off ‘Significant Locations’ it’s not accepting my usual password that I’ve been using all along for the Apple Store etc… Not allowing me to create a new password either. I’ve used prior passwords - yet all rejected.

The only suggestion I would make as to precise location is when it comes to either a Weather app or a Lightning app. Both of those could be important to know your location to make sure you get up to the minute weather no maker where you are.

Love watching your videos very informative and useful. I hope you can help me. I love listening to Music while playing a game but recently my music stop or pauses and I can’t turn it off or on or change a playlist unless I close the music app. But sometimes that doesn’t work I go into settings and turn on and off the purchases and downloads. Not sure why this is happening like I said it only started recently in the last couple of weeks which is very annoying. I hope you can help or suggest how to fix it. 😅

This is great, I had most of these covered but thanks. One comment, if a person ever has to do a system restore on their iPad, none of your settings will get saved. That’s the big thing that sucks about iCloud, it won’t back up your system settings. So, you have to write all of these down on paper somewhere, so you can remember where to put the sliders in each of these locations in the settings. I have had to do a hard reset several times, only because apple suggested it for troubleshooting a problem I had. The hard resets didn’t fix the problem anyways.
