Installation tip. The newer trucks having aluminum bodies are probably heavier gauge and the trim strips are too tight to accommodate the liner and the access panel. I sprayed silicone in the strips and the liner slipped right in. Prior to that I spent 2 hours struggling with no success.

Thomas Dean agreed. Thinking a stack up tolerance issue. I just installed mine, and used some armor all to help get it in place.
I went back to watch this video, and noticed this portion of the video is not inclusive and skips to the next step after stating insure the holes are lined up.
I really like the bedliner though.
      Thanks

    That’s a pretty easy process.
    Was it worth it?
I don’t put much stuff in the back of the truck. So it’s not a work truck.
Just usual stuff moving stuff around etc

Can you apply this product over the factory spray-in liner?

Other trucks or older fords that are steel will rust for sure

I found it impossible to slip the tail gate liner under the three strips at the top of the tail gate. They should have made the gap a bit larger to accommodate the liner. There is no need for it to be that tight.Sent back and waiting for refund

IMHO Unless a person just can’t afford a rugged spray liner or drop in liner (I prefer spray liner)this might be a way to go but I would recommend you save your money spend another $200 to $400 and have a spray liner protect your entire bed including the sides.

This. A pre-fabbed liner is never going to be anywhere near as nice and "perfect" as spray in. But there are advantages like cost, transferable if you change vehicles, and you can take if off without damage/hassle if you don't want it anymore.

I wish I could go spray in, but my bed is to damaged already. So drop in and this is my only options.

I was thinking about these as an alternative to a traditional rubber mat so my dj equipment doesn’t slide but you last me at: simply remove the tail gate. No thanks lol.

if they are made like the floor mats that means pure junk ! sun fade and they start to curl up after a year .

I have used Weathertech mats in all of my vehicles and have never had a problem with them curling up.Just bought some more for my 2023 Rav 4 and my 2024 Nissan Frontier. Much better than any factory floor mat.
