These people are real Americans. Genuine. You know their word is good and a handshake agreement is as good as anything can be. Quite an inspiration really. I think a lot Of people watch this channel who maybe don’t even own a vehicle (certainly aren’t fabricators/off roaders), but they lack in their own life the sincerity and richness in human exchange that is so prevalent in both this and Matt’s channel; they watch the channel because it makes them feel good. Everybody in these videos genuinely loves those around them, everybody is being helpful, happy and it’s quite heart warming. Watching this channel has inspired me to buy a welder so I can build a Jeep WJ, and fiddle with my 70 Camaro. I have enough mechanical sympathy to figure out out as I go, fixed a garden rake last night for practice! Looks like I fixed it with boiled metal bubble gum lol, but everything is a learning process! Thank you to everyone who is involved in making these videos, from the cameraman to the editor, and of course the “stars”. You’ve cheered me up and lit a fire under my ass. Keep it up, that’s a direct order.
@@FabRats I get emotional sometimes lol, I’m glad you appreciate it. Your whole family and crew are beautiful, keep sharing it! Many people grew up without these things, you sharing these videos enriches peoples lives more than you know.
I really love how y'all like mountain dew (should be a sponsor) so much! And not much swearing. Such a great family show! Thank you 💟 it's great to a couple of Southern utah peeps getting a little love
It's nice to watch a channel that i am not hearing four letter words and is entertaining and educational. I have a stand, like your family does, I don't watch what my kids and grandkids do not have to leave the room. Thanks keep up the great work and God bless.
Don't listen to these clowns complaining about the commercial. You guys did a great job keeping it fun and creative. I actually enjoyed it as much as the rest of the video. Keep it up. 100% support from real fans.
How does one guy know how to do so many different things and more importantly how to do them so well???? Nice job Paul! Love the channel, your family and friends! Thanks for sharing with us!...
15:00 If an air compressor is noisy: In addition to setting it outside, connect the compressor suction to a piece of pipe, run the pipe to just under the edge of the roof overhang, then install the air filter of choice. You will be surprised how quiet it is.
Just another day fellas!!!! I've worked around Paul and Matt. Totally different styles but both get the job done right. Paul is the smartest guy I've been around but he portrayes it all nonchalant. 😎🤙
Ahh, one video clip brings all of Matt's Universe together! I learned about "Junky" and the Corvair addiction when searching on the Internet. He started Red Ryder towing and bought Winder, now he's finishing the wagon and redeeming himself!
You guys make a really good team, your 'in shop' comradery is fun to watch. It reminds me of myself, my father and brother and many friends working on projects together. Great job as well.
I dono y but my heart melts when FAB and MAT works together. It takes a good heart to make mat to work in fab's shop as his own. U two hav very warm relationship, keep it up bros.... God bless u..
Great job Paul. Was at Matt's place last week before he took it up to your place. You must have been born with the auto repair guide implanted in your brain when you were born. Amazing, just amazing. Take care and be safe out there.
Paul you are an amazing man of many talents. Matt is not real receptive to suggestions but they should be made anyway. You both are very good at what you do. Thanks for sharing.
2:15 Matt, that is the most convoluted way of making a bracket/socket/cradle for your radiator I’ve ever heard, it was funny because Paul’s idea is fantastic but you were emotionally attached to your process, I understand. I understand completely.
Wow, that was a blast. I was there for just a little bit and am completely amazed at how much work Paul can do from his shop. Good luck on your next build and a very Merry Christmas to you all.
I love Micelle's humour. She sees the funny side of every situation, and keeps the team having positive attitudes. I'm sure I am not alone in wanting to know Paul's background. He has serious skills in so many aspects of vehicle building, and he surely had to have some sort of formal training to learn some of that stuff. At Ford (UK) Product Development where I worked for 40 years, the transmission bay was manned by wizards who rebuilt transmissions using secret spells and black arts, and they would be horrified to see Paul giving up their secrets.
I’m not a big fan of corvairs but that is one bad ass Corvair. I would not mind owning Matt’s corvair 4x4. You make rebuilding an entire trans look so easy. In my experience it’s no where near that easy Keep up the great videos

Best time in shop was building my turbo 350 with my teacher in spare time. He had me get a smiling jack shift kit. My '80 camero was awesome. So cheap as well 60$ for a core from junkyard and 220$ in parts
Well Paul, you make it look so easy. I love the 'what's this part?' & then you toss it. I always try to see if I can do with less parts than the original!! 🤨😉 With as many times as Matt was running the lift up & down, you would think he would have it figured out.🤔😁 Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing the final results!!
I happily have not seen the inside of a transmission since the 1980s. Great job Paul. Nice camera work. Nice to see Lady also. Surprised Matt is not doing a joint transfer case for more choices.
