Riding for fun is key, most people couldn't push the bikes to their limits so anyone of them would be good.

And even if they could, for what? If you aren’t getting paid to ride, you are doing it for fun. You can’t take your skill with you when you die, but the memories you made with your friends and family will live on through stories of when good times were had.

The frog your right I go out with my mates on bikes quiet often we all have different bikes with different power ....for example I have a crf250 and my other friend has a cr85 .....he can smash me round a track some times depending on how I want to push it lol ....I’m not taking no big risk for my own pleasure lol broken bones hurt and like people say if I’m not getting paid for it then why bother causing injury to myself and others ....just have fun like you say

If you can't take it to its limits you bought too much bike for you... If that bike happens to be a 250cc and you still cant push it to its limits you probably ought to hang up your boots and get a bicycle.

I love my Suzuki. I know it's not completely up to par with the others but most of us aren't pro riders and those little differences don't make a difference. It handles like a dream, has plenty of power...and IMO is the best looking bike in this lineup 🤘

I started riding in the mid 70s as a pre teen. The bikes were crude by today's standards, but we rode the hell out of them and had tons of fun. The were affordable and easy to fix. I think the manufacturers have forgotten that theres still a large population of riders out there that's still looking for bikes that dont cost an arm and a leg and dont need to ride competitively

ALWAYS 450 for street because no matter what your skill the 250 will be gasping for breath on the highways where a 450 won’t even break a sweat and if your worried about the power of the 450 don’t be just take it easy and in no time you’ll be used to it🤟🏽

While I respect you're opinion I have to disagree with ktms parts not being up to snuff. As an engineer/machinist I would say the have some of the best part production/ process around. You have to remember they only build bikes. Not cars, generators, boat motors, pressure washers, etc. So they're development money goes to bikes. Granted they do have problems but who doesn't. They bring things to market faster than any other brand and typically a factory edition is the next year's production bike. A big plus to is that they stand behind their bikes. I know people who have had an issue with 50 hours on they're bike an ktm has fixed it free or extremely cheap. All of the bikes now days are nice but you can definitely see advancement with theirs.
