They do make extension kits for those stems if you ever need, but that hose clamp idea is genius I’ve sat there cussing up a storm trying to needle nose it off
The real point of this video is NEVER BUY PRICE-FISTER as it’s a failing company with crappy fixtures and I actually plumbed Mr.M’s home here in the sunshine state. He’s the entrepreneur that bought the company and is/was trying to save it. We’ll call it the HarbourMasters mansion and it has everything from bowling alley/game room to theater with the stadium seating. He had a brand new Chevrolet truck sitting in the unfinished guest house garage as the house was being built for months and I was sick of working around it!
That is quite a story , which leads to questions. I always like to know if the person was pleasant to be around or arrogant? No worries if you can’t answer. Next question is are you a plumber? Do you always work in high end residential? Thanks for watching our video and sharing your story!
@@TappPlumbing I am a plumber for over 30 years and they always relay messages back and forth to the contractors for us. Look up the story about price fister and you’ll see it’s true and it was around 2015 maybe. I’ve worked for many of golfers and football stars but there was a famous college football coach that was an A-hole and he ended up in South Carolina.
That was pretty slick how you used that hose clamp as a wrench
Thanks! I was wondering how I was gonna get thing off for a minute or two.
I was sitting here like 😮
@@johnharvey5412 I am wondering if this is good or bad for me and the video 😂?
That’s a useful trick I’m never going to forget thank you👍
Thank you for watching our video ! I would imagine both of us could apply that maneuver on a different application also.

Thanks!
Dope trick potna!
Appreciate it my friend!
Nice trick
I've actually had to trim the handle with a grinder in this type of situation.
That is a fantastic idea! I will remember that for the future. Thanks for watching our video and for sharing that nice little tip!
Could u cut that sleeve down so it's not to tight on the handle?
And u sharp cut edge would of been behind the sleev on the handle. So no sharp edges would be exposed
That would have been an excellent idea! I didn’t think of it🤷♂️
@@TappPlumbingI did something similar once. Cut it down ND it worked out good
You’re pretty clever Mr box of chocolates
LOL, we hear this frequently Drill Sergeant....LOL
My secret trick in dealing with price pfster, is replacing that trash
I prefer Delta over price pfister for sure.I do have pretty good luck making solid repairs on their products though. What brand do you replace with?
Million dollar wound.. but I never seen a bit of that money
I guess I am missing something here ?
Was it like a box of chocolates?
