- A Texas veterinarian will not be allowed to practice for a year after a photo of her posing with a dead cat she killed with a bow and arrow emerged last year. Kristen Lindsey posted the controversial photo on social media in 2015. She said she thought it was a feral or wild cat but it's believed the feline was actually a family's pet named Tiger. After the post was put up, animal lovers took to the streets to protest. The vet was fired from the animal clinic where she worked. #InsideEdition

I could understand if the cat had rabies or some disease and she genuinely felt like she was in danger, but this? Hell no.
Even if it was a feral cat, we see videos of feral cats being rescued and taught to be domesticated or at least partially domesticated all the time. She trained for years to become a doctor to save animals and she killed an animal without remorse. Crocodile tears from her at the end. I remember being horrified when this story came out. And last fall a sweet, scared orange tabby showed up in my yard and I spent the entire winter in Minnesota, trying to feed and trap that poor kid and after 6 months we finally got him. It took a few months but he’s safe, and healthy and happy in his forever home. There’s absolutely no excuse for this $hit. None whatsoever.

I lost a cat when i was a kid. Some cruel idiot came on our property and shot my beautiful cat, Chinny in the eye with an arrow. I've never understood why someone would do that and the fact this woman is a vet who seems proud of her actions makes it seem so much worse.
