  • Meghan Verikas worked with cops to stage a crime scene after learning that her ex-boyfriend had allegedly hired a hitman to murder her last year. Verikas is now testifying in a trial against her ex, Houston surgeon Dr. Leon Jacob. Prosecutors say Dr. Jacob approached a decorated U.S. Army veteran, Moataz Azzeh, and offered $20,000 and two luxury watches to make her "go away forever.” The ex-soldier later worked with police to build the case against Dr. Jacob. #InsideEdition

@Tacfishy so basically the story is TRUE. Cops asked the wife AND the ex-husband to help them STAGE A SCEEN to make it seem like the hit man actually did what he was asked to do. To basically try to get them to confess etc etc. so the story was true, nobody did anything illegal. They just explained the story EXTREMELY poorly! Hope that helps make sense of things!

The cop informed the ex, so the cops staged those photos to make it seem like she was now dead, they believed it, and once the police came to them and told them the ex was dead they started to fake cry and then the police busted ‘em and then the girlfriend committed suicide.

I'm not excusing her actions, however, I do believe he manipulated her into it. While she is responsible for her own actions he definitely was the mastermind behind the whole thing. She showed genuine remorse while this dbag showed none. While some people try to pass off fake remorse to benefit themselves she showed real remorse and took ownership of her actions while he thinks he is so sly like there isn't a mound of evidence showing he hired a hitman. I have also heard he would use her child as leverage pushing her towards going threw with it, using manipulating tactics to sway her into being willing to have her ex killed. Yes this doesn't excuse her actions that's not what I am saying what I am saying is this guy is a total POS and should have gotten the special chair at the electro diner.

I think it was the wife, trying to make it seem like self defense and stuff, but they found prove that he was weak because of something she gave him, before she killed him, so he wouldn't have the strength.
