    Thanks for making these videos, you're one of the few talking about this interface. but here's Easier way to do get reverb while direct monitoring. Turn on software monitoring, turn down the fader on the track you're recording to, put reverb and delay on auxes , but change them to pre fader on your record channel. You'll be able to hear the auxes and not hear the software monitoring for the record track.

    +1 for a DSP reverb and delay to monitor through running in the Symphony Desktop. I'm a huge fan of Apogee and ordered this device the moment it came out... but this thing is testing my patience. At least we finally have a functioning firmware with compression (opto-3a) dsp as of 2 years after release.

    This was so much easier with previous Apogee interfaces. Why did they complicate the process more for the Symphony Desktop?

    This is almost laughably complicated. I had this interface and one of my main issues was a device that came out so late in the game and is so expensive should have reverb capabilities. It was one of many reasons I returned it. Antelope and UA have much more elegant solutions and cost a lot less. Don't understand why Apogee would under-power a device like this.

    maybe apogee listenes: this is absurd! we need a reverb inside symphony desktop, not outside. we already have reverbs, thanks. and how do i get the bloody monitoring to work again? at all? I forgot since yesterday! and how do i level the volumes of playback and monitor? easily? somebody?

    Hello friend, best regards, I bought that interface, but I don't know how to activate the plugins, I tried but they tell me that it is only valid for a month and I don't know why, could you explain to me?

    Question about Logic Pro. I can't find an answer anywhere. If you select several items and open the piano roll, then all the notes of these items will be shown, and all of them are active and can be edited. Is it possible to open it so that only those on which item you clicked are active, and the rest are inactive, that is, ghost? There is such a feature in the reaper, but I can’t find it in Logic. When editing, for example, orchestration, when all are active, wild confusion begins and notes begin to overlap each other - it’s a real disaster ... Please help.)

    I’m assuming this with theoretically work for other plug-ins such as pitch correction?

    • @jonasfonn1638
      @jonasfonn1638 Год назад

      Not really, because you'll still have the dry signal to deal with. The reverb in this method will have a slight pre-delay, but I guess that's bearable, because of the type of effect we're dealing with. With pitch correction, we'd only want the wet signal from the plugin, and then we might as well use software monitoring, as far as I'm aware. Please correct me if I'm wrong, anyone.

    Really Apogee? it is a shame, I was happy with the duet 2 and thought about to upgrade it during the deal this month.. but what is this? UAD has the way better solution, you just add the plugin in the mixer, no need for so complicated steps..

    It’s comical how you stay with it, as if jumping through all these hoops is completely reasonable. As one of their pitchmen, if you spent the time letting them know how ridiculous it is, perhaps it would motivate them to address the issue.
