elaine fickin is an idiot, most of us love having everything possible explained.. that is the ONLY way to teach, cover everything possible so that no questions have to be asked. i love your videos, i've learned SO much from them; honestly, you have the best videos on youtube for this genre 100% !! def one of my top favorite youtubers, and i watch these same videos over and over again for years, any time i forget something i just come back to your channel bc i know you cover everything that needs to be known.
I have to agree. People are so ungrateful! If they knew how difficult it is to make a video. To work and talk at the same time, to make sure to say all of the important things someone else might not know, and the sheer amount of time it takes to shoot, upload, edit. If you already know something, there are these little controls on the video to skip ahead, pause, rewind. It's easier than complaining. This is by far the best looking tutu skirt I've seen. The measurements she gave really helped. I tried to make one for my doll. I used FAR to little material, and the overabundance of tulle is what makes it cute!. This video helped me to see what I did wrong and do it right next time. Totally worth my time. Thank you!

I am making two of these formy daughters for their Halloween costumes for the first time and I just realized I will be sorry 10 yards of ribbon to do both layers of tulle. What is your best advice? To just put ribbon on the top layer? Or, sew both layers together?

what size needle are u using? u make it look so easy. every time I make an attempt, all the material gets sucked down into my bobbin area and it's a huge mess to untangle and get out and start over. do I need a different foot? I am new to sewing with fabric this lightweight.

I just make a bow and sew it to the elastic band.

With this tutu, if i were try to make it adult size, so like a just above the knee length skirt, would it be see through? or does it depend on the colour?
After you sew the elastic and fluff it up, do you sew a seam to close the tutu? Or do you just leave it open?

Shannon Wheeler there isn't. Because glue falls apart. Maybe buy an inexpensive travel sewing machine
