have to change out a controller...error code 30. this video a insight for me...dig all them seashell gravel you got..my first mars 1.0 got stolen..cables cut like butter. had just put on Moto grade tires on too...6600 miles I got ...thievers didn't get batter so..I got same model...eyeing the 2.0 ...but my gripe has always been range...your showing solution..ThumbsUp on dat
Hey, great video. But does it hurt the hey Bike original battery when it’s fully discharged? And in a previous comment the battery that first discharges first the second one will automatically kick in? Thank you.
It’s not really cost effective to upgrade the motor and components. Though this isn’t exactly what you seek, the best advice is to sell your working bike and invest the cash into a unit with the specs you desire. (Customer service and parts availability a consideration)
@@ElectricAllWheel Hmm I get where you are coming from. I was more so just looking for general advice though. Like how to match it to the battery the controller watts and such. I'm just looking into learning things while saving for my next bike.
Hey Matt, I've purchased two of your discharge balancers in the past year and I want to know if it's safe to connect the two batteries I have for my 1,000 Watt Folding Ebike. The original battery is 48 volt 17.5Ah and the second (inside the frame style) battery is 52 volt 17.5 Ah. would the 4 volt difference make it dangerous to connect them in parallel with your discharge balancer? Thanks in advance, Larry from Canada
Yes! Do not do this. Most lithium cells are very sensitive to anything greater than 0.3V variance between cells. By adding two different batteries that have different voltages, this would also confuse the charger as well. Very dangerous. Please don't do this.
The video description has links to two different kits: the first being a 40A kit and the second being a 20A kit which lists the mars as the fit. Which one do we buy? Went ahead and bought the 20A but 40A probably wouldn’t hurt either 😅.
Almost certain it will. Please send electricallwheel@gmail.com a picture of your controller, controller to battery connectors, and the specs written on the controller for more info.
dumb question, does this make bike go faster or just last longer? i have heybike mars, idk which version i have but im sure is not 2.0 and i want to make it go faster.
Problem with these bikes is they are barely bikes. I have a huffy everrett peddle assist. Its a Bike first and ebike second. I could totally ride it for many miles with no assist. Im not sure about that thing. Might as well buy a moped.
these balancers are awesome I bought 1 for my Jetson Atlas and now I have about 3 times the range

Where do you get those handlebars for the side mirrors?

Will this work for a samebike xwc05?

This one
electricallwheel.com/dual-battery-discharge-balancer-kit-20a-xt60-bulletxt60adapter/
Is this considered running the batteries in series, or or are they parallel? Will one battery drain sooner than the other?
The batteries are in parallel and will discharge uniformly

I sent the photos
@@kreepingdeath999 it will be the same kit for the ranger.

Increases range not speed
Can you make it faster?
Do you have to charge both battery's at the same time?
No. The batteries are charged independently with their respective chargers
Do you know if this will work on a Pace 500.3 Step-
We have not tested an Aventon Pace 500.3. You are welcome to test and if it doesn’t work out, send your kit back for refund.
