    If you get the Hyperscrambler 2 you want the extra battery. Not that one battery is bad or anything, but with two you'll almost never have range anxiety. That is a wonderful thing. Peace of mind is worth the extra cash. Happy riding!!!

    Are there any plans for developing a charger to use with a 12vdc source? I have an RV with a large solar system and don't want the conversion loss going through the inverter and then through an AC to DC charger.

    After surviving my 4/22/23 neck breaking crash caused by a forgotten kickstand, I've noticed my battery only charges to 3 bars... Is this from battery damage and is this battery a possible fire hazard in your opinion?
    If so, any possible solution suggestions?

      @@juicedbikesI have a 48 v / 20 a.h lithium ion battery 48 x 20 is 960 amp hours. I then decided to also use the calculator to divide 960 by my Max speeds I've been getting out of the 1500 w motor which is 34 mph top speed and it came out with this figure 28.2 and a long line of digits after the decimal point my question is douse the 28.2 qual the approximate range in miles that I can travel on a full charge before the battery gets to a risky low capacity such as 10 or 25 percent capacity of charge remaining ??? Or am I wrong to divide 960 by my top speed in mph to try to find my mileage range from full charge to low charge for one outing and from one full charge which would mean 28 is not my maximum range before needing to recharge from a full single charge.... ???

    I have a juiced rip racer with a 52v 15.6ah battery. It came with a 2amp charger. I have a 3amp charger from a previous ebike that had a 48v system. Can I use that charger on my juiced bike battery.

    • @juicedbikes
      @juicedbikes  Год назад

      Hey 👋 Great question! Never use a different brand of e-bike charger. The 2amp, 4amp or 8amp chargers we sell on our site have been tested for safe use with Juiced Bikes battery packs. Using an outside charger on a different voltage platform can risk damage to your e-bike battery or the charger,

    I just bought the CrossCurrentX about 3 weeks ago and my user manual reads "It is highly recommended you charge the battery pack after every ride, even if the batter pack is only lightly used... the battery can achieve 500-700 full charge cycles. As the battery pack receives more charge cycle, the capacity will decrease. Charging a partially discharged battery pack is not considered a full charge cycle"
    This video seems to contradict the manual. I have been charging my battery after every ride even if its just a couple miles. Have I actually tore through a significant number of my recharges already?

    • @juicedbikes
      @juicedbikes  Год назад +1

      Hey 👋 Charging between rides is a great idea and doesn’t count as a full charge cycle if partially discharged. We just recommend waiting 30 minutes after riding to charge your battery.

    One BIG important battery question was not mentioned in this video. The answer is elusive to say the least on RUclips and with bike manufacturers. The million dollar question is: do you plug your charger into the wall outlet first, or the battery first when charging. I see a 50/50 split on responses.

    • @juicedbikes
      @juicedbikes  Год назад

      Hey 👋 Great question! It doesn't charge your e-bike while pedaling or through regenerative braking, while these features sound attractive, regenerative braking doesn't give enough of a bump in range to outweigh the extreme cost they add to produce.

      @jardelaien8278 Very wise thinking, my 52 v 13.5 ah battery is still going strong 6 years later using a slower rate 2amp charger, I only use & charge it from spring through fall: during the day, off of the bike, outside sitting on a piece of plywood either shaded from the sun on my blacktop driveway edge or inside an old grill with the cover down but vented, using a 25 foot outdoor extension cord through a 20a ground fault breaker outlet and that distance from my detached garage, and check to see if it's done it every half hour, you hear too many stories about bikes, houses, and garages catching fire so it's never being too over cautious to eliminate as many risks as possible. 🤔😊
