Nose on the Grind Stone! I just cleaned Tyler Childers mom's suv. Been trying to get down to the Paintsville area to softwash their home, too. Born and raised in Eastern KY. I know this is an older video of yours, but my family has washed coal trucks, heavy equipment, houses, vehicles, we also do hood systems and so much more since the late 70s. My papaw started it with my dad and his brother. Now my 13 year old helps.

So I sold my house and have the cash to invest in a new business idea 💡! And I decided let’s give pressure washing a shot. great advice about to get in the game in spring of 2021 and I going to get my clients the same way I built my snow plowing business. a printout couple hundred fliers and drop them door to doo in my neighborhood and other ones in the area on foot and pass them out at ppl door. just think my flier said snowplowing on call, Insured driveways and walks, Ice melter or salt here is what worked 20.00 for ever you live in this area. well 150 got ahold of me that season we had a hell of a snowfall so every weekend it snow 3in or more most of those 150 wanted on my list and still are on my list. S the point of my story is im going to do the same with the pressure washing business i got all the goodies belt drive 3500psi 4gpm 13hp honda motor 100ft pressure hose on spool plus 300 ft of 25ft 5/16 and 3/8 sections of high pressure hose for close jobs plenty of garden hose good garden hose not cheap crap 10 guns 15 different wands and everything in between. the snow plowing is fading off where I live our winters are getting more mild and its time to do something for myself and family where when I work long hard hrs all that money ive been making for ppl i have worked for. Snow plowing was a side thing I'm an auto tech by trade and can fix just about anything with hardly any tools now its time to start something I enjoy doing and make good moves for us and hopefully pass along knowledge to other, hopefully make some killer money and the old fashion pass out fliers in local neighborhoods plan works for me again. if the winters keep getting warmer well that means work all year long. Great advice, great videos and to the point.i recently started a pressure washing business. I been doing it about 2 months. It's been slow. I got ads out, I'm on Google,local papers,yard signs,cards, magnets for my trucks, just about anything and everything I can think of. I'm not sure what's going wrong. I got before and after pictures, just not producing business as it should. I'm persistent so not sure. Anyway looking forward to next video.

Not a problem Kyle. You do good videos. Their very informative and this one is very important. With a new guy pressure washing on every block; I just feel sorry for all the guys jumping in thinking they all gonna succeed with it. And thinking it is easy to find work. In 1 year theirs 20 pressure washing companies withing 15 miles of me. Theirs yard signs everywhere. People taking down other folks signs and just getting really grimmy with it. And the failing companies trying to sell anybody their stuff to get out of that bank note. I love what I do. But these people need to make sure they got the cash to weather the storm before jumping in. Or a full time job to pay their bills and the monthly note on their equipment. And quit doing $500 worth of work for $50 Jesus. Lol.

I've knocked on doors before for my lawn care, but a lot of neighborhoods have no soliciting signs so your not legally allowed to knock on someone's door and sell them something. My idea is to knock on doors and do free driveway pressure washing, then create an itemized list of things I notice that need to be done around their house and give it to them after I'm done on the driveway. Even if they don't call me for the other services I provide. I still got before and after pics, and I can also point at their driveway when I offer it to the neighbors.
Knock them anyways. Those are “we buy things” signs! Play dumb if they mention it. Play dumb & pivot.

My initial strategy is to pass out 2500 door hangers in a week along with posting in Facebook groups, then keep my fingers crossed since it will be mid November by then.
