Interesting choice not to have rhe sprayhood up in the squall - I'd rather be dry 😂. The 410 looks nice, bit new for me though haha, nice video Dave and nice to meet Gary
Hello David, greetings from Brazil! I like watching all your videos since from your Routmasters' RUclips channel. And as always, another very cool sailing video from you. I thought you had bought another boat. But anyway, your friend's boat is amazing too! Well, I hope you have managed to fix your boat's throttle bracket at the Marina, it certainly wasn't difficult, since you are an expert in mechanics and boats!! Have a great day and a great sailing too!🙂⛵⚓🌞🇬🇧
Thank you. Yes, so much knowledge I gained from working on the buses I have transferred to the boat. The throttle linkage is now sorted with cable ties!! 🤣👍⛵️
When your going off to holyhead for example do you need to call ahead to these places or can you just turn up and use the berths? Do you need to radio through also when you get there or can you just enter the breakwater? Would love to see you do abit more of that kind of thing on video. 👍🏻 another great episode.
Hi Steven. You can just turn up. You can pick up one of the many mooring balls which are operated by the sailing club and they provide a water taxi to the shore, or you can tie up on the pontoon which is owned by the marina. Space is limited on the pontoon so its first come first served. We arrived late so we knew the water taxi had stopped for the night which is why we tied up on the pontoons. And no you don’t need to radio ahead to enter the breakwater. 👍

Hi Jack, fair point but the rain was almost horizontal coming in from the back of the boat so the sprayhood would have given us no protection. ☔️🤣⛵️
@@sailingmadness fair enough, the cockpit on the so is lovely!
Still following your adventures, easy watching and enjoyable at that. Keep ‘em coming.
Thanks Denis, will do! I may see you at Withal on the 15/16.
@@sailingmadness excellent!
Enjoy your sense of humor! Sure would be fun to sail with you!
Thank you. 👍
