- Bands can be a cheap and inexpensive way to add load and resistance to exercises you can do at home.
When you consider the strength required to handle the summation of forces being placed on the body when performing on the board it’s unfortunate to say that body weight exercises just ain’t going to cut it.
Bands can be a great solution here.
Knowing a good majority of skaters don’t go to the gym I thought I would do a quick video on the best exercises you can do for skateboarding using a cheap band at home.
In no particular order, the exercises are my top picks for strength exercises you can load with a band that will train movements , muscles and expressions of strength that will be most relevant to skateboarding.
