can't believe how huge coporates have monopolized skateboarding, bit by bit until now, most of the original skateshoes have gone, vision, vans, duffs, etnies, dukes( wray pro shoe),airwalk,DC, were really good, almost indistructible,(rudy johnson proshoe)dyrdek pro shoe,axion-with mariano, gino, remo campbell, emerica,es,sheep(all etnies,i know)dvs, simple shoes, kastel, ezekie, evol all those before circa,&ipath, before addidas made skate shoes, lots of competiton.lots of great shoes, now like three brands
i live at the very top of a huge hill in PA the next skatespot is miles away through heavy traffic. and all i got is a curb, a flat bar, a kicker, manny pad, and soon a ledge. oh and a little 2 inch bump from my garage to driveway :p
it's probably the same size as most loading docks. about 3 feet. that's the standard deck height of trailers these days, so most loading docks are about that size.
I need to stop coming on youtube for awhile.. everytime i watch somethin like this im inspired to go out and skate but im trying to heal a sprained ankle and its just taking longer lol. damn!
1:17 when prod says "learned off of here first" if you listen closely you can hear someone in the background say first at the same time he does. This is probably scripted.
with shorts like these, there's probably a producer or director asking him some cue questions.. and sometimes it does end up sounding scripted, which kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me... but still, this one ended up pretty good in the end
Or maybe they did a few takes and someone knew what he was gonna say next. Nike is pretty professional, i doubt they just run n gun shoot stuff like we see in a lot of other company videos.
Paul Rodriguez is by far, my favorite skater. Live long PRod!

Search "P Rod-Long lost clips #116" and you'll see him skating this spot at a young age.
Really wish i had the oppurtunity he has to be blessed with sucha great skate spot
You can learn how to skate with a flat bar a ledge/manny pad and a loading dock. You got drop, manuals, and grinds the 3 essentials
This is so like my skateboarding life. I skate albertsons every damn day. It has a buttery ledge with some badass kickers!!
I came in my pants when he did that kick flip...I thought that was the end of it but then BAM!! He whips out the sexiest 360 Flip I've ever seen.
