Tried everything like levelling and loosening, adjusting screws, but nothing worked until I put a couple of thick washers in there just like he showed us. Great job!
The gasket on the bottom of this fridge is toast. Needs replacement. Losing air through it.
Yes it definitly was a bad gasket. I replaced it in this video.

Seems odd that the door doesn't have cams on the bottom hinge. If the cams are broken or missing, that would cause the door to be low and not want to stay closed too
Thank you. I have a frig door that is very, very hard to open. You have to get a good grip and pull it open. So, I'm not sure what is wrong. Any ideas? Frig is just few years old and works perfect, just I should have checked it after it was brought to me. So, maybe, I have to re-orient the door better to where it'll open more easily.

I hate to criticize but what you did, didn't fix the real problem. The fresh food door is STILL crooked in the opening in that the gap between the freezer door and fresh food door is not consistent and you could actually see that the right side of the door extended beyond the body of the fridge at the top and was a bit recessed at the bottom. Yes, you "raised" the door so it would close but the cause of the problem still exists and will likely return.
Your absolutly right. I guess this is a quick cheap temporary fix, but I decided to keep this fix the way it is for the duration of the refrigerators life, so I dont have to put more $$$ into it.
So what is the "real" fix? Just acquired a fridge with the same problem.
I'm not sure what the real fix is honestly. I noticed taking weight (milk, drinks, etc) off the door helps a little bit as well. If you put an extra spacer in there it will also get you more clearance.
@@wdh1855 Do a PROPER levelling. Mine was doing the same thing until I leveled it. Not only stopped the door bottom from dragging but straightened the uneven gap between the doors.
@@brianreinhardt4050 Brian, hey, I've got a different problem. Door is hard to open. YOu have to get a good grab on a wall, then pull it open with great strength. Any ideas what might be wrong? It was delivered and door put on by Sears. This was few years back, and I just am not getting to where I will fix it. So, I bet they did not install the door correctly. But, anyway, any ideas? I looked for video on YT but haven't seen any that explain what could be wrong.
@3:32 actually that bolt actually does lift the door. Just did it to mine. That why it has a hex shape. Turn that to adjust the height and the hole its going into also has a shape that no matter how loose the bolt is, it will keep it at that height.
