New fridge, denied door. They replaced door and left...then we realized the doors are not aligned evenly. Your video was perfect! A quick 2 minute fix. Thanks, Andy in Florida
Wow amazing. Thank you for such an informative video!!! I hope this fixes my less than 2 month LG French door refrigerator that apparently likes to freeze pitchers of water and gallons of milk and just about everything else 😩🤣
I have a Whirlpool wrf535smbm00 French door fridge. The vertical hinge is not going into the guide and closing properly due to the left door sagging. My model lacks the height adjustment bolt (rather just has a pin beneath the closure cam). What would a recommended fix be? TY!
I'm going to try this on my Samsung French door fridge, and I hope that it solves my problem. I'm not sure if the doors are unlevel, but I'm going to check. My refrigerator cabinet keeps freezing, and the fan starts hitting the ice and then stops spinning because it's iced up then the temperature rises. Two times, I've had to remove the back panel in the fridge cabinet to melt the ice. I put a handheld temperature guage in the fridge after the 1st time. I know its a sealing issue letting moisture or humidity in so I hope I just need to adjust doors. Thanks for the info. I hope this solves my problem. I subscribed.
Yeah well GE at least in my case had a good feature with the 7/16 wrench to level the door but as dishwashers have four cornering leveling so should refrigerators. N/S E/W leveling should be a standard on any appliance like a refrigerator. I used a shim the get the left rear correct on the GE but that should not be necessary. Seems according to the manual it's only available on the "Custom" models. 2 dollar savings for GE, shame really.
😂.. It is not coolant. It's refrigerant! Doors not being level: will cause a drain issue and / or cause the doors to not seal, which will drain in room air. Causing snowcone ice in the freezer component or condensation type water in the fresh food component. Very nice video. You just need to correct the information about the refrigerant.
hello there and thank you so much for the video , today when i check mine i noticed that both sides the abjusting screws are very damage and cant move then, is there any other way to do the fix? keep up the great channel u have.
Thanks for this video the french doors on our new lg line up now i had the nut on the door maxed out to raise it never thought raising the foot would do the rest ...the convert drawer opens and closes very hard can you show how to fix this issue its the new lg model # LF29S8330S Thanks again
I've a mfw2055frz03 Maytag fridge. The manual is very unclear about how to remove the panel to access the adjustment feet. I see no screws and i pulled firmly and the access panel didn't come off. Any suggestions?
I have that exact same GE fridge shown first in the video. I noticed you say only the right door is adjustable. Unfortunately my left door is the one that needs to be adjusted. How can I go about fixing this?
The doors on my new GE fridge were level at first but now are off after just 2 weeks. Also the door squeaks from the bottom. I do not put any milk containers in the door shelves just smaller items, so that weight isn't causing it. Will check with a level and proceed as necessary. Side note, when I hooked the water up I then saw the label to make sure the ice maker is in the OFF position before hooking up the water. Mine was in the ON position. Why can't the factory workers make sure that it is turned off for the customer?? Then slap some of that blueish tape over the control to hold it there. It's not like they don't have that tape placed everywhere else for the customer to remove.
@@shanehockey28 tried some white lithium grease on the lower hinge and thought it was fixed but it only lasted about 2-3 days. i have the 3 year warranty but have not called on the issue as of yet.
Hiow does adjust the leveling feet that makes no contact with the top french doors adjust the doors themselves? This doesn't make physical sense to me, but I could be wrong.
Unlike the backside, the frontside is mainly an open rectangle that flexes (into a rhombus shape) under the heavy weight of the fridge and doors attached. Imagine you have a wooden frame in your hands that is not completely rigid. Attach doors to either side and then skew the frame up on one side, the doors will become unaligned.
Many Times Doors are uneven because or our floors we place them on. Many floors are uneven which cause the doors to look uneven so this allows you to adjust them. Thanks for the comment.

This helped fix one of my doors that was not sealing properly. Thank you

This just worked for me! GE side by side. Thank you SO much!!!
We're glad we could help! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for doing the French doors. I was concerned that it wasn't correct previously.
You're welcome! Thank you for watching :)
Thank you so much! This did the trick and we got it all evened up!
Thank you! Great video

We’re working on another video right now that goes further into refrigerator balancing (not just door alignment) as well so stay tuned for that!
thank you so much!!! I did it all by myself, atta girl!
Me too! Yay!
Thank you good info
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Awesome!! Thanks for the fix!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching :)
seems weird they want the fridge tilted slightly back rather than just making the internal components tilted slightly.
Thank you!!

What’s snow cone ice?
Thank you for this

Thanks man that's easy

I have a GE with bottom freezer. Refrigerator is level
One of the doors is way off. How to fix that?

Can't you adjust the right door up or down to match the left? That's what I believe he meant.

Same here GE model , doors not level and same squeak did you get it fixed or find the problem ?
@@shanehockey28 tried some white lithium grease on the lower hinge and thought it was fixed but it only lasted about 2-3 days. i have the 3 year warranty but have not called on the issue as of yet.
I want a roll or two of that blue tape. It's great and they think so too judging by how much was in my new GE

I'm also perplexed. Wished it made sense re: the top and bottom of the French Doors only.
Unlike the backside, the frontside is mainly an open rectangle that flexes (into a rhombus shape) under the heavy weight of the fridge and doors attached. Imagine you have a wooden frame in your hands that is not completely rigid. Attach doors to either side and then skew the frame up on one side, the doors will become unaligned.
coolant?
The refrigerant not flowing properly is insane. We're not talking about it being on its side.
Shouldn't door leveling be done at the factory? If you saw a car with uneven doors, you wouldn't purchase it. Shows bad quality control.
Many Times Doors are uneven because or our floors we place them on. Many floors are uneven which cause the doors to look uneven so this allows you to adjust them. Thanks for the comment.
Sometimes you have to remove the doors to get the refrigerator in the door and reattach once inside.
Unlevel fridge and uneven doors are 2 different things w/ different fixes. Kinda confusing. My Kenmore Pro does not appear to have adjustable doors. 😕
Lol... if your refrigerator is leaning 15° you have more problems than coolant not circulating.
why do we have to keep doing this..weve done it 3-4 times now
They should put a hook on the side of my GE refrigerator so I can hold a wrench there as I need it often
Those are pliers bruv
Is that Tyler Pratt? He has a RUclips channel now. ruclips.net/user/TylerPratt_official
It sure would have been helpful to explain that turning to the right raises or lowers the door and turning to the left does the opposite.
Dude, common sense. Or lack thereof
