- How to get you Lenovo Thinkpad all models in this case a T420 to load or boot from a CD DVD or USB and to find the options in the boot menu and in the BIOS , get you Lenovo Thinkpad laptop to boot fro CD or DVD Windows installation disk or bootable USB to upgrade to add new HDD or SSD.

Got a Kingston A400 240Gb SSD today. Installed and booted from SSD with no problems. Just need to get a cheap caddy which is about a fiver on ebay to hold the SSD securely. Thanks, wish I found your video sooner.
ah good i always stick cheap SSD in , yeah lucky this one came with caddy but if the first time one of these has usually missing

I want to reprogram the eeprom 24s08 of my laptop lenevo T500 type 2241 , because the bios is corrupted. I can't find a copy of the original Bios ..

Please help me , my laptop keeps going onto the think pad page and then it goes black and then returns to the thinkpad page , it keeps going that . I don’t know what to do . Help?
not sure if it was me id unplug pull off battery and press start button a few times it can sometime unblock memory , then if not sorted id take out and clean memory contacts and try one memory stick at a time to see if one was faulty , also try to unplug then plug in hdd or use a different one , check fan is clean and re-thermal poste cpu maybe as well

@@gabrielsbuholts229 you can take the cmos battery off the motherboard for a few minutes to clear it as last resort
