It worked on my T420s. Had to try germing every legs until I germed the exact legs and it worked. Thanks for this video.

Hi do you know which pins do i need to short them out
My laptop is lenovo t470s
Search for a schematic and boardview and look for the same two short points I showed in the video. I’m not certain it will have them but that’s what should work off the top of my head.
Hi I have Lenevo Thinkpas L15 gen 2 same issue pls suggest - bios is password protected
Email me @ wellstechinquires@gmail.com
Hi, does it work in thinkpad x250 model?
It’s likely a different process. Email me @ wellstechinquiries@gmail.com and I’ll see what I may be able to do.
Wow first time seeing this method, no need to remove and read the chip, no decoder, just shorting. May i know if this is applicable to t460?
If I encounter one I’ll make a video of you send me an email @ wellstechinquiries@gmail.com I’ll look into it.
@@WellsTechandRepair thanks looking forward to this, we have so many t460 currently have supervisor password, these laptops are from company re-used by students in their schools for a better purpose
I never ended up getting any but look for schematics and a boardview for the T460 and see if you can find a short point for CLK and DATA.
Dude you're awesome, just one thing I don't get is that you just press them down gently with something made out of metal? excuse my english
Thank you and you have to use something metal because you need the two points to connect electrically and if you use to much force you could mess up the motherboard if the tool your using slips.
Dawg, what did you do? You just pinched it with tweezers or am I missing something?
I made the short with the tweezers while pressing “F1” you want to set it up before you turn the laptop on and make sure you’re set up in a position where it’s easy enough to make the connection on both ends. Then power it on wait until the logo pops up and press “F1” while making the short.
@@WellsTechandRepair ill give it a try good looking out! Appreciate it! How do you get rid of that administrator password now lol...jus playin...
@@dee.f88 No problem. Any questions just let me know.
