    ✓ Recommended ways to enter BIOS - ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation:
    1_ Power on the system by pressing the power button.
    2_ Repeatedly tap the F1 key when the Lenovo, ThinkPad, ThinkStation, or ThinkCentre logo appears,
    _ The computer may beep once to indicate that it will boot to BIOS.
    _ Some models require users to continuously press Enter instead of F1 during power on; once the Startup Interrupt Menu displays, press F1 to enter BIOS.
    ✓ Recommended way to enter BIOS for Lenovo Desktops & All-In-Ones:
    1_ Immediately press the F1 key 5-10 times after the power on button is pressed or restart the system and press F1 when the Lenovo logo is displayed.
    ✓ Recommended way to enter BIOS - ideapad:
    Turn the PC on.
    1_ Immediately and repeatedly press F2 or (Fn+F2). Accessing the BIOS may take multiple attempts.
    Another way to enter the BIOS is to press F12 and then choose to Enter the setup from the Boot menu.

    Thanks for this! Was stuck on the laptop refusing to boot to the DVD drive. The Lenovo BIOS screens are not very verbose, didn't realize I had to select BOOT and press enter to expand it and set the order.

    Hi, thanks for this video. I still have not tried ot because I was wondering of the BIOS settings would be changed permanently, or just once for one installation of windows. How can I reset the bios factory settings later?

      To factory reset the BIOS settings:
      1_ Turn on the PC , immediately press F2 repeatedly, to open the BIOS Setup.
      2_ select " Exit ", and then choose " Load Default settings", to Reset BIOS Settings to their factory default settings.

    Tried it several times pressing the F2 key at different rates however PC kept booting to desktop.

    I have USB DVD drive (cause lenovo sucks and doesn't include normal DVD in it's modern laptops). So how do I set it up?

      insert the USB DVD into a USB port on Lenovo laptop.
      1_ turn on the laptop, immediately press F2 key to enter the BIOS.
      2_ Navigate to the " Security " then select " Secure Boot ", and then Disable the SecureBoot function by pressing Enter.
      3_ select " Boot " . and then Set the " Boot Mode " to " UEFI ".
      4_ select to the " Boot priority " then press the F5 key to modify it " to " UEFI First ".
      5_ select " Exit " , and choose " Exit Saving Changes ", and then press Enter to select Yes.
      6_ Press F12 to open the Boot Options menu.
      7_ select the " EFI DVD/ CDROM ", and then press Enter.

      How to boot from USB DVD to install Windows 7 or previous systems
      insert the USB DVD into a USB port on Lenovo laptop.
      1_ turn on the laptop, immediately press F2 key to enter the BIOS.
      2_ Navigate to the " Security " then select " Secure Boot ", and then Disable the SecureBoot function by pressing Enter.
      3_ Select the " Boot " .and then Set the " Boot Mode " to " Legacy Support ".
      4_ then select to the " Boot priority ". then press the F5 key to modify it " to " Legacy First ".
      5_ select " DVD/ CDROM ", then press the F5 key to modify the boot order, making DVD/ CDROM in the first item in the boot priority list.
      6_Press F10 to save the boot settings and exit.
      7_ Press F12 to open the Boot Options menu.
      8_ select the " DVD/ CDROM ", and then press Enter.

    Hey brother.. We both have same lenevo laptop.. Bt Mine's bios is locked and I have lost bios password.. also boot from CD/DVD is disabled.. is there any working way to install another OS on it?
