Lenovo ThinkCentre M72z Legacy And UEFI USB Boot

This is an old #Lenovo All In One Pc. Recently I upgraded the SSD and Ram As well as applied Thermal paste for better cooling performance.
Now I am going to enable the USB #boot in legacy and UEFI environment at a time.
To do this, we need to change few major setting in the #BIOS

the ThinkCentre M83 is the same way as this one. Legacy to MBR partition drive, UEFI to GPT partition drive. For installation of Windows 11, it must be GPT type of Partition.

Mouse and keyboard not working after 4:21 I could not move ahead because no mouse or keyboard is working after this. I have tried everything from enabling USB in BIOS settings to using different set of mouse and keyboard bust still not working. Please help me.

@@jesperchad821 Yes Jesper, I changed hard disk and it started working, then I put back the same hard disk. So it’s just a glitch.

@@TheDamianlopezz Was long time ago.. but I think I creat new USB flash drive with CSM/Legacy partition scheme with Rufus and Windows boots and installations works fine.

My Lenovo 430s Is In Some PXE: File & in bios it will not boot up,all to do with these settings as I loaded the Creation Tool to try get fresh windows 10 back to a stable mode. I have tried & tried to get my laptop back to Working again but when the USB is in loads all the start-up stuff but won’t accept anything I try. I use my Lenovo Workstation C40/50 to get the Microsoft tool or creation just fails,it’s never been anywhere near this bad in the past but it’s a uefi/Legacy problem I’m stuck-on but won’t even try boot or in options it will still fail as I go along Troubleshooting this crazy but good laptop. The w/station has a Tb of hdd /sata but way to big to fit in my slot or I would try that even ,just to have my 430s back it’s been great up until this point with 8gigRam-I Core 5-300 hdd/sata drive hardly used I even tried 2 other drives but it’s not even interested in working or repairing as I’m now going to buy a SSD from 2 lads of Asian shop quoted me £65 with windows 10 on it included I’m going in the morning to hand it over to these good Tech Chaps and will reply hopfully tomorrow with better UPDATE 4 you sir it’s Lenovo they are very well adapted for upping the Ram to double/treble+ to 32 RAM via the slot in DVD can take a SSD to ram slots under my keyboard + under this laptop where The Ram normally goes so 4 slots in all,the British army use these along with government places so that for me says it ALL basically if they trust em too…. You may install windows in legacy mood. Just re-create your USB installer (from GPT to MBR)
