Dude! Your video saved me a lot of time. The pump kept losing prime. I could fill the tray until it primed each time the machine went into freeze. The impeller was barely spinning. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. I have an indigo nxt at my work that the ice thickness probe just died on, I'm definitely fully understanding the different cycles of the ice machine now and how long each one should take approximately and am definitely way better at troubleshooting my ice machine thanks to your videos!
Of all the ice machine brands, I like Manitowoc best not perfect but they put effort into making it serviceman friendly 👍👍

great video. Im having issues where it will make ice for a couple of rounds and then the tray will be really low on water. The compressor will still be running and freezing, but no water flow. It is also signaling Safety Limit 2. Which is long harvest. I cleaned the compressor radiator thing and it worked better at shortening the freeze cycle, but still not fixed! what the hell
You’re either not filling with water correctly or loosing water somehow. Check your water level probe and your dump valve.
@@IceMachine411 figured it out. The machine was leaning towards the back ever so slightly and the water flowing over the evaporator was making its way to the probe by flowing in the roof above the water reservoir. Bananas…

How about showing the actual installment of the water pump. I can’t get one in. I took the O ring off and it goes in, but just barely. It does feel like there is enough room for the O ring to be on and go in. Very very tight. FYI 30 years plumbing experience.
Ive ran into this same issue before. Clean it really well. Add some food safe lubricant. If it came out it’ll go in. Sorry if this isn’t a solid answer.

Do you have a link for part numbers list? or a source for used or new parts? My model is a Manitowoc ID0302A- 161 Indigo Series Ice Cube Machine. So far I know I need a water probe and pump. It was super easy to figure out being they weren't there! lol!

Can you tell me the meaning of a flashing triangle with an interogation symbol on the digital screen of a Manitowac Ice machine..please...at times it shows n its not making Ice...thnks
It means that the machine has experienced an error. If you use the touch pad you can press the left arrow button to see what the error was.

Is it possible to fix the water pump or just replace it
I’ve never repaired one. I’ve only ever replaced them. If it’s dirty then try cleaning it really well.
Why is my water pump indicating off on the display screen what might be the reason
Because once I put it on and start it, the surface only get cold bringinh out snowish foam but no water coming out. What might be the cause of that
Sequence of operations is gold. Follow them. Eventually something will happen that’s not supposed to happen or something won’t happen that is supposed to happen. That will narrow down your issue.
My ice machine won’t stop running water.
That sounds like a problem. What’s your Model #?

Im testing it on a table with the hose running into it and it will display harvesting bit the water doesn’t get cold or do ice. Then it will display Full bin.
That’s strange. May want to call tech support. I’m not sure I can help.
Making ice but not releasing it
Harvest valve, dirty evaporator, separating evaporator, ice too thin, machine not level, not enough heat and many more possibilities.
