This Scotsman ice machine has a bad fan cycle switch. The fan cycle switch is supposed to turn the condenser fan motor on and off as needed but wasn’t working properly. Troubleshooting this Scotsman flaker ice machine Model #F1222A. The customer called in to say that their ice machine was making a loud noise and making any ice. I found that the top bearing had failed and the Auger was grinding against the Evaporator.
