*The initial reason I didn't include Sylphiette as a possible candidate when filming the video was because Norn already doesn't trust her because she doesn't remember her from Buena Village and the fact that she wasn't Eris "the same girl" back in season 1...
It might make more sense for someone else to approach her that she has neutral feelings about.
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL be watching the opening eventually, but don't want to spoil myself with any hinted no context spoilers so I'm choosing to wait. Once I do watch the opening at the end of the cour, I plan on making a further video breaking down the opening and comparing my reactions to it!

Aisha was one month premature due to the stress Lilia was feeling during Norn's breech birth. Norn is older but only by a little while. They are essentially "not twin" sisters with the same birthday.
So essentially Rudeus will be throwing them a combined 10th birthday party!
I'm not going to lie, the predictions for the next episode are pretty hard to forecast, except for what is implied in the title of the episode.
Oh my! I'd die to know what you think about the next' next episode, but i have to wait and let you mold your ideas.
I've seen a couple of comparative images between Rudeus and Norn around the same age, it's amazing how much they look alike. I don't know if YT will allow me to link images (edit: it didn't) , though.... I think in the community tab I might...
I recalled this when I heard you talking about a possible parallel between Rudy's depression and Norn.
A little more context on what we watched in the last ep: As far as I remember, this information may be scarce, in the box that Paul sent to Rudeus, there was also a letter from Lilia explaining the level of education of the girls, both of whom went to school while they were at Millis. They can already read and write.
Aisha is especially outstanding since at her age she has a beginner level in 6 elementary schools of magic (not incantationless), has special grasp in reading, writing, mathematics, geography and history. She has skills in cleaning, laundry, general housework and cooking. She is also a beginner in Water God Style. Lilia asks him to be strict with her and not let her get in over her head.
Norn, on the other hand, is a normal girl but being constantly compared to her sister at school has created a tough front on her, Lilia advises him to treat her gently and kindly.
One thing that I do love about the character designs in MT is how you can tell the characters are related but not in a generic way. Each character has their own unique look making them stand out and it's little details such as eye color, hair styles, etc. that adds it.
Funny enough I went back to watch the beginning 4 episodes in season 1 and there was a detail I forgot about, how Lilia and Paul used to study swordsmanship together. Implying that Lili does indeed have some fighting experience (which went over my head). So perhaps Aisha's skills come from Lilia's side as well, pertaining to the sword. We know Paul is advanced in all three so it doesn't surprise me how skilled Aisha is for her age.
Who knows maybe one day Aisha will surpass Rudeus in Water God Style.

@@LykesonRose You would fall over backwards if you read the novel, I know there are a lot of people who comment on details cut in the adaptation but (in terms of details) there is still about 70% or more left unsaid.
You are right Lilia has a certain degree of swordsmanship, in fact, she worked in the capital of Asura's kingdom as a bodyguard for the princess (baby Ariel) defending her from an assassin attack, she was injured with a poison on her ankle and could not fight anymore, being useless as a bodyguard she fled the castle fearing her own safety, she went to a border village (Buena village) and while looking for a house where she could work as a maid, she met Paul and decided to ask him for help (or blackmail him if he didn't accept). Thus she ended up working with them.
I can't wait for the next episode. I hope they adapt it well. It's definitely a strong chapter.
Norn is by far my favourite character in this whole series.
Out of all the characters in MT I'm surprised to hear Norn is your favorite, so without a doubt I'm looking forward to seeing her character development.

This Friday I will finish the 2nd season and start this 2nd or 3rd season, I don't know how mushoku tensei is doing.
What series are you watching? I'd say I'm enjoying the 2nd cour overall more so than the 1st. The animation quality has improved as well!

Yeah in reality Sylphie is still Arial's bodyguard and she still stays in the dorm for the night for some days
I do want to point out, being intelligently genius is quite different than understanding emotions.
Aisha is very genius intelligently, but people like that tend to have difficulties understandings how people who are not intelligent feels.
That is imo one reason why the two sisters don't go along well.

Great observation... I never took it in that direction. People with higher IQ's can have issues socializing. If this is the case for Norn I hope the anime points that out or conveys a scene where we can see Norn shine.
