Hello I am from Chin state and I just wanted to say that this food Bakthuk is really similar to what we eat in Chin state called Sabuti. As a Chin person I say that I feel more culturally closer to Tibetans, Bhutanese and North East Indians than I do to Burmese or other South East Asians I don’t see any commonality at all with them. Anyway Tibet is a pretty cool place and I’d love to visit it one day!

Just saw yr recipes .please could u show how to make the bak tbuk a bit slowly I.e. when making balls. It looks easy but in practice it needs a lot of skill. Another thing I m veg so kindly upload more veg recipes please.
