I recently visited Bhutan, last month and im so in love with Bhutan and its people, culture everything. Being a vegetarian I had ema datshi and khema datshi almost everyday. Definitely gonna try this today as its quite cold in Delhi! Lots of ❤️
In 2021 .. I also visit in Bhutan.. after eat Ema datshi... 😋 I like 👍 it . Next day I visited in. Restaurant , I order hema tashi.. 😂😂😂😂 .. eat with Rice.. too good test .. if you try local food.. ❤# Paro..
my grandma lived in Bhutan for 5/6 yrs and my mom was born in Bhutan too ... whenever I go to grandma's house she cooks this dish for me it's one of my favorite dish.. it's light and easily digestive.. ✨ 😌
When I lived in NY I use to visit the ‘Weekend’ restaurant in Queens NY every week. I fell in love with Bhutanese cuisine. Ema datshi, dried salted fish, dried pork and red rice. I miss that part of my life so much.
I like the combination of different kind chili's, I will try to cook this dish its look yummy and tasty..I Love to visit your country its beautiful and peaceful Place in the world.
Had this in Phuntsholing way back in year 2000, when I was there for a project. This video brought back those memories. Will try at home. Beautiful place and beautiful people!
Nice. I looked up the recipe because a friend made a variation of it on a trek, we didn't have many ingredients (because it was a high altitude trek) but we did have cheese. It turned out tasty 😋. Going to make your recipe next, looking forward to it
I meant for others living abroad, amul cheese works great with ema dasi. I used mozzarella cheese it has high water content so it just dilutes. Cheddar cheese and blue cheese for those living abroad.
I tried EMA DATSHI at the Majnu ka tilla local restaurant. But in 2019, the restaurant & whole buinding was closed for re-construction. And also the land bridge of Maj nu ka tilla was closed for repair. So I felt so exciting to cross the road. I miss Majnu ka tilla so much. I miss India & Leh ladakh. I hope all of you stay safety & healthy.
I am happy to know that you still miss small Tibetan community. Yes there was many reconstruction especially the bridge. We also don't dare cross the road due to high speed vehicles. So bridge was a life safer. We are very much safe at India. Thank you for the concern. May God bless all the sentient beings and free from all unwanted guest.
Very nice video..Thank you..can you plz plz tell which Bhutanese song you are playing in the background..Its so soothing n beautiful song🙂..tried to shazam it but didn't find..🥺
I made it tonight. I just took off the veins and seeds of the chilli so it isn't too spicy. AND IT'S DELICIOUS!!!! 😱 It is SO GOOD that I'm so happy eating it and I shared the recipe to my family for them to try it too.
Thank you so much for trying my recipe and loving it and I am glad that you got your result and enjoy it. Thank you for sharing it with your family members. 🙏
@@an-fy4xp I used a mix of grated cheeses for pizza. One of the cheeses in the mix was mozzarella, but I don't know what were the other(s). I'll make it again just with mozzarella to check the flavour.
Beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. Had this dish when I had visited Bhutan as a tourist... tried making it at home and loved it. 🤘love from 🇮🇳. There was something called Keva datsie, can you make a video on that?
