It's a mans tobacco scent; but sometimes I get the ashes from the cigar and some type of whiskey. I love it! I'm new to the fragrance community and proud that I recognized a winner when I first heard the description. BTW, I was lucky enough to purchase from Amazon early on for $35!!!

So yeah, I blind bought this based off your review and I LOVE this stuff. Pipe smoke with sweetness. Other people love it also! Major compliment getter and smiles from the ladies! I'm not a serious fragrance guy, I only have 3. Dior Sauvage, La Nuit Del Homme, and now this 18.21.
This is my go to for fall and winter. Great longevity, 8 hours easy. I'm 100% satisfied, blind bought, paid retail price $80, no regrets at all. I just love this smell of Sweet Pipe Tobacco, and I don't know anyone else who wears it which is even better.

Over a year later and look what's happening in the frag comm.
Love this stuff for cool weather. It is powerful stuff. Honey tobacco bomb and very long lasting. Was originally about $40 but will run you $70-$80 now. Very well worth it.
Wow I just got the decant based off the reviews and I'm so glad I didn't blind buy a whole bottle of this. HONESTLY speaking no troll or hate I was so close to buying a full bottle because of how everyone was going bananas over it. Then I finally got it and I was excited but ultimately let down. I don't understand why people are going ape sh!t over this.
It legit (as others have said) smells too sweet. I didn't even think that was a possibility for me. I like sweet like axe's dark temptation (chocolate) deoderant. But man this is overwhelmingly sweet. Did 3 tiny sprays from that awful atomizer and it was overpowering but then it settled a little bit and I guess it wasn't as pungent.
Yeah I really don't understand it at all really maybe a little I suppose. But in the end this is like... ??? why are people worshiping this stuff.
I think it's awful not because it is but because of what it should've lived up to based off the reviews. Is it decent? Perhaps. Is it hot garbage not at all. But when I think of someone whose never given a 10/10 for a fragrance and then they do it for this that kinda blows my mind a little bit.
I hope I helped guys. Buy a decant if anything if you don't believe me.
the thing is...most people when they think of tobacco. in fragrances their mind seems ro gravitate towards pipe or cigar tobacco...fact od the matter is 18.21 probably was going more for a chewing tobacco because alot od chewing tobaccos use (honey) to sweeten their chewing tobacco.😊

Congrats! I'm a big winner too because I've had a bottle since May and absolutely love this juice even though I didn't break the seal until 2-weeks ago since I wanted to start wearing it in the Fall. But I couldn't wait and it was surprisingly not cloying in the Summer hear...and compliments galore. I love this Man Made scent and have considering dumping many in my collection and just wearing this one in the Fall. Yes, it's that good IMO.

Hey bottom note! First off, I don't know anything about fragrances I just want to smell good. Therefore I only own one cologne, Dior Sauvage for everything. But I been looking for something else for fall and winter. I decided to blind buy this off your review, should get it in a week. I love pipe smoke, so I'm positive I will like it! Like your videos, especially the "fragrance addiction is a disease." Funny but serious at the same time.

Hate spending this much on a scent BUT it sounds worth it. I do smoke a pipe on occasion (I am old) and wonder what type of pipe tobacco? I know goofy question. I may buy a bottle and worst case sell decants. Cool give away raffle... the truth starts here!

Bought a sample and it smells very similar to the Pure Havane clone Insurrection II Wild. I get a strong cherry syrup vibe, and no honey bees. I wonder if I got sent some Pure Havane, but I see in the comments here that somebody else mentioned they have heard it is close to Pure Havane. Waiting for a change in the drydown, but right now I have to say I'm underwhelmed. My girlfriend thinks it is ok. I'm glad I only bought a sample. I like Tobacco Vanille and Tabac Rouge better, though I cannot get myself to pay for a full bottle of either of those. Please let me know if you recommend any other tobacco scents!

I have to say, I find myself sniffing my wrist a lot, and have already re-sprayed my sample 3 more times. It is growing on me. I am comparing Insurrection II Wild side by side; Wild has a stronger cherry. I definitely like 18.12, the underwhelming was due to its similarity when I was expecting something brand new.
Just watched your Sonoma Scent Studio video, and wanted to let you know that Tabac Aurea was the fragrance that got me excited about tobacco notes. I also really enjoy Lanvin Avant Garde.

I do have to say there is a similarity to Mugler Pure Havane about ,18.21 goes more honey and havane goes more vanilla but the overall feel is the same...I have my bottle of 18.21 and I can defenetly if you like this you will like or love Mugler Havane or Inssurection Wild the mugler Copy cat...
Think I need to probably revisit Pure havane side by side. Others have made this reference as well. My memory may be fading of the fragrance. Thanks man, will have to tune up the ole nose :)

yes sir ,once you revisit pure havane you will see what I mean plus it really does smell amazing in the cold like a Yankee vanilla candle ...also Insurrection wild is and alternative I also owned and it's 98% live pure havane and you can get it on ebay for about $20-24 shipped ...

Dell: thank you for this review man. I generally do not blind buy, but I ran by and picked this up at JCPenney today. Yes they have it at JCPenney. It smells absolutely incredible. For the price, it's ridiculously good. It's in the vein of Patfums de Marly Oajan, Mugler's Pure Havane, etc. To me on first impression it's a really good dark pipe tobacco like you said. It's really almost mesmerizing as I can't stop smelling it. Thanks man!

That's amazing sir! Nothing like a fragrance you actually can't get enough of sniffing yourself and then to boot, get compliments on. That makes it a plus plus. You exude confidence wearing it in that case. Also you are completely unique in a room knowing full well NOBODY has it. A conversation piece :)

Don't wanna bash this but either my nose is not matured enough for this kind of scent or its just horrible. Bought this off of hype from the frag com in June. Recently swapped for 3 30 mil decants of other colognes. Really don't see what the big deal is
It's a unique scent that gives us FragHeads an addition to our arsenal. It's a quest for the variation. A realistic Honey & Tobacco that is beastly for under 100 bucks. "Bang For The BUCK" If you will.

Bottom Note thanks for replying!!! I do wear savage mixed with J'adore to girl it up. lol I also wear Cartier new L'Envol on it own because it is amazing. I do wear (very sparingly applied) Valentino's new Uomo Intense, which I get a lot of complements on. The rest of my scents are all feminine, with the exception of TF Black Orchard.

i get so much honey out of tobacco vanille. many people spray too much. i go with 1-1,5 sprays with tobacco vanille and i think its excellent fragrance. unbelievably intense. i like parfums de marly better though. my favorite fragrance for autumn/winter. will try this, when i get my hands on it.

For a unique wet honey pipe tobacco that lasts 10 plus hours and gets compliments for 80 dollars. This has to be the type of scent you are after. Look at the comments below. Several blind bought from this video and were blown away. It's a champion brother. Also knowing no one in a 100 miles of you possibly has it. You will stand out. I hate to tell people to blind buy. Great Review ! The tobacco is coming from the tonka bean. It's. Synthetic chemical called Coumarin, which is used for both tonka bean and tobacco. If it's tobacco note then it's used in greater concentration than that of tonka note, but it's basically the same compound used to create the scent. Hope this helps !

I just got this. It is reaaally strong! The most dominant note is a manuka/white honey. If you are going to wear it at work, I would stick with no more than 2 sprays, and spray it well before you go into work lol

I just picked up 2 bottles of this today. I'm really enjoying it so far. It has such a natural honey note, and then a lovely light tobacco. This will definitely stay in my rotation. I do have to say though, I like Herod more. When it comes to price, you can't beat this one.
