I did a review on the both and they are Diced Pineapples for sure. Fragrantica is down on this apparently because of the Aventus thing. I enjoy Noir over vintage. The atomizer is 90 vs 120 with most so it requires more sprays and they write that in the box. The nose fatigue is HEAVY on this because of the musk. Overall I like this best of all of my 12 pineapple scents.

I put on one spray and boom it literally filled the room. I'm in N.Y. it's in the 30's here.

after testing out both samples, the Noir is where its at! Lasts longer on my skin and it has that dark mysterious pineapple that is addicting! will be purchasing a bottle soon for sure! great video!

Thanks for doing this, Del. Happy New Year to you! Great video, Aventus killer or not, it's worth checking out. I think I'd like to check out the Noir version because I appreciate the smokey birch quality that some batches of Aventus brought out.
Someone should try doing something original with the Pineapple note. Another fragrance kinda like this one is Heroique Rance 1795.
Also my question is this: you mentioned that with 25 sprays of Aventus you will chock a mule. Lots of people are saying thAT recent Aventus batches aint this potent. What year is your Avenths from ? Also, is the Birch much more prominent in the Noir Version ? Cheers bud

I got the Pineapple Vintage samples this week and love the real Pineapple. Definitely comes to life in the heat and the Noir gets an insane amount of compliments even after 8 hours when I think it's faded. I've just bought another Aventus last month and I'm not sure whether to be happy now I've found this as it is half the price of Aventus and there is little difference if any with so many Aventus batches. Pineapple Vintage could easily be one of the Aventus batches

These are really nice samples. The vile cards are thick and well appointed and embossed with pineapple Vintage logo. I ordered these after seeing this video. thanks by the way, and I smell Aventus... like on the drydown now that I've smelt it on my skin.

Dell my man great review as always. You said this is a pineapple produce juice interesting. This doesn't have the smoke that Aventus has. Ever since The King Aventus was released in 2010 myself and I'm sure many Frag Gesds get excited about a Fragrance that had pineapple. I have to get my nose on this juice...

It's pineapple but not Aventus. It smells great and gets compliments. I can smell it all day on people I sprayed it on but not on myself. Doesn't project like Aventus. I can send you samples of each. You still haven't tried 18.21 Man Made Sweet Tobacco Spirits. Could send a sample of it as well. You will l9ve it for sure.

Excellent review Bottom Note and killer intro! I like your honest approach, and that you don't sugarcoat or exaggerate things like some others. Hey bro how close of a comparison is this to Demeter's Pineapple Cologne? I ask bc Demeter's Pineapple only cost like $35 and it's not fleeting like your describing with the Vintage
I can't compare man. Never smelled Demeter. I can say I'm not blown away and encourage you guys to not buy blind but to please sample to form your own opinions. If Demeter is better @ 35 bucks then I'd stay right there.

What part of California do you live?
The Aventus comparison is bizarre. I just got an on-its-own pineapple fragrance from it, really not comparable to Aventus.
When you get the chance, chime in on the new Creed bottles if ya can, thanks.
I have both Pineapple Vintage and Aventus (17x01, 17t01, 17n01, 17s01, and 16c01) and you can tell there is a difference between the fake and the king (Aventus) If you can’t afford Aventus i advise you to save up for it and not buying “clones”

Seems like you are only doing reviews on fragrances that are sent to you by the fragrance companies themselves. Your earlier reviews were more authentic and now you seem more corporate.
I dunno why you would say that for.. Hes pretty damn honest with his opinions whether its pro or con even when he gets something from the company.
If I said these fragrances were gems or great and you received one and were completely disappointed then your statement would be true. I do reviews on my purchases as well. Wearing my new MFK Grand Sior today. I paid for it and will review soon. In the fragrance community we have aspiring perfumers. Some hit the mark, some miss badly. In this review I encourage you guys to sample first not to blind buy. I also stated I'm not sure or blown away due to this performance thing. You may have a different experience. Our guys deserve a shot to get their new perfumes visited. Sweet Tobacco Spirits was a new one that was sent to me. Our community benefitted from it. An amazing scent. Bergamust is another great fragrance that was unheard of. This one.........I'm not sure. It's up to you guys to decide. Lord knows we waste money on samples. You find this to be a hit or a failure. It takes time and effort to find and review so I hope you stick it out with me and don't feel like I'm doing commercials or something. Have a great week sir.
