Naxos is the best smelling fragrance I've ever smelled. Now my favorite in my collection. Not a fan of the opening of Jazz Club, but it hits it's stride around the two hour mark where it rounds off. Beautiful from 2hr-9hr marks. Wanted by Night is fantastic!

Correction at 9:39 : D&G The One EDP does in fact have tobacco, perhaps you were thinking of The One EDP Intense, which does not have a tobacco note.
I was surprised when she said that but I also do not get any tobacco from The One edp either.

But, I'm looking for a fragrance where the Tobacco note really stands out from the crowd during the dry down and beyond. Do you happen to own, or know of, a fragrance that fits that description?

Nobody watching this video was ever going to be surprised to see tobacco vanille or spicebomb, but I appreciate that you guys added different options like ck shock and nishane fan your flames, giving people great low budget and more niche picks!
I have a tester strip of Nishane Fan Your Flames which I've had since the last week of May this year when I went to a retail store to check out, and till today, it's Mid-July - I CAN STILL SMELL IT. It's insane. So distinct and just goes to show the incredible quality of the fragrance. Really winning me over day by day. Would definitely purchase it one day!
Strongly suggest buying Zaharoff Signature Tabac, I actually sold my tobacco vanile straight after buying it. 12 hour performance as a low projector and it's TV with dark chocolate and pimento, sooo much nicer when the fruit in TV can be a bit sickly.

Firstly, I just want to say congratulations on your videos. Nice presented, informative and decent, which is not always for granted in the days we live in.
I do like tobacco as a note and I have spicebomb, spicebomb extreme, Bvlgari Man in Black, Laudano Nero by Tiziana Terenzi(it's in the same vain as Tobacco Oud by Tom Ford) , ck one chock, Pure Havane(which "inspired" Naxos) and Havana Aramis, which is based on a note resembling more to the tobacco leaves than the final product.

Tobacco as a note, like coffee/cacao, can go in several directions (from leafy & floral to uber-smokiness to almost stale cigar in an ashtray). My fave is Mugler's Pure Havane with Serge Luten's Chergui a distant second and Montale's Oud Tobacco rounding out the 3 that I have in my (limited) collection. Margiela's Jazz Club is on my wishlist. Thank you for another entertaining video !

Mancera’s Red Tobacco is so nice. It’s very sensual and deep …it really improves as it dries out. Feels elegant and mature. The opening is over the top but it’s sooo good an hour of so later.

The only fragrance i own on this list is Naxos. Such a fun fragrance. I use to rock Azzaro Wanted By Night way back when it first came out. That was a good one.
Oh man, Teddy, if you like Tobacco you have to get your hands on Tobacco Toscano by Santa Maria Novella. It's a close to the skin creamy tobacco that you could wear in the summer. It's a cologne concentration and is fantastic for warm weather since it's more subtle and isn't really built to project. I'm telling you, you'll thank me.
I own Jazz Club I’m 26 and a woman I looooove it for a night out or just in the winter time

Fan Your Flames: this was one of the replacements for Jazz Club for me after it seemed to be heavily watered down (AF's clone of angel's share is the other, called Brooklyn Fragrance Lover)
Xerjoff Naxos - love it
Herod - this one is weird for me... when I first purchased it a few years ago it didn't project at all... after sitting for a few years (and me using it only once in a while) - it seems to have "opened up" - projects fairly decent now, and the performance is 10-12 hours on my skin.
I have been out of the frag game for years now, I went from collecting frags to collecting watches. But I still recall some good ones and my favorite tobaccos would be: L'Occitane's Eau de Baux and PdM Herod. Also Santa Maria Novella's Tabacco Toscano, I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's more of a dry, leathery tobacco, think tobacco leaves.
My tobacco fragrance I have in my collection is Guerlain L'homme Ideal Intense.. Really love it
Another amazing tobacco fragrance is Les Indemodables Vanille Havane 🥰 one of my favorite tobacco fragrances along with Herod and Argos Triumph of Bacchus
Guerlain L'Homme Idéal Extreme is my favorite tobacco fragrance so far. There's some dry, fruity sweetness in there, thanks to the plum, which I like a lot.

Very nice concept for winter time. I have and had T. Vanille, Naxos, Red Tobacco, The one, Jazz Club and Herod. I love Naxos most. Also like Dolce Gabbana Pour Homme and Pour Homme Intenso. I hope you have tobacco only on your skin.
triumph of bacchus , zaharoff signature tabac are also bangers , bacchus is a smoother version of red tobacco it smells so nice

I really enjoyed the video. I'm not the biggest tobacco fan. I have to be in the mood for it. I've worn The One, Wanted by Night (which I loved)and Spicebomb Extreme in the past.

those are two very different fragrances
angel's share is a winter fragrance. sweet, gourmand boozy apple pie
hacivat is a summer fragrance. fresh, citrusy with oakmoss note. think of aventus/montblanc explorer/club de nuit intense man but less juicier and more woodier
based on what you liked above, you seem to be into sweet winter fragrances that are excellent for dates. those 3 already fills out what angel share can do so I suggest going hacivat instead for a more casual, fresh, wear it everyday scent
I’m a big fan of Daniel Josier - Ambre Tabac and Herod, but my wife loves wearing Tobacco Vanille.
I love Spicebomb Extreme and Tobacco Vanille, but Naxos is a 10/10 masterpiece. Oddly enough I don't get much if any tobacco off of it. It's more of a creamy dessert with lavender and cinnamon to me. I'm really wanting to get my nose on Fan Your Flames.

Red Tobacco layered with Instant Crush is incredible
Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Coral Fantasy. Was already a very good fragrence then they added red apple and tobacco, kicked it up quite a few notches. It's one of those scents I always end up trying to smell myself when I wear it. Also don't sleep on the 18.21 man made sweet tobacco and Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Wild which is also a sweet tobacco. It's an absolute monster.
I have a lot of niche tobacco fragrances - naxos, side effect, jazz club, red tobacco, ormond jayne montabaco, herod, chergui. Out of all them my favorite is Herod. It's just the perfect smell of what I envision the ultimate tobacco fragrance should be
Im thinking of buying exactly one od these but i heard that herod and jazz club dont preform so they are a no go. Which of others do you recommend?
@@miha3791 red tobacco by mancera. easily my most complimented fragrance that lasts on my skin 16+ hours! literally every time i wear it i receive a compliment
@@miha3791 i can confirm that Herod's performance is terrible. I barely got 1 hour out of it before the smell disappeared completely. Shame as it's a gorgeous fragrance. Can recommend Naxos though. Fantastic smell and decent performance.
I heard that new naxos has a little change. Is still worth to buy? I ask about longevity and projection. 🙄
I would recommend Tobacco Maniac by Theodoros Kalotinis. It's an extrait de parfum concentration so a little goes a long way. Its a very strong tobacco-heavy fragrance but the dry-down on the skin is really beautiful. Not for everyone for sure but for a tobacco scent, its super unique and super masculine. It's like if Dwayne Johnson gave you a bear hug or something. That's how I'd describe the vibe of the scent HAHA
I have Shock, Spicebomb Extreme, and London...all great fragrances. I had a sample of Fan Your Flames and just couldn't get into it, and I even love coconut. That might have been the problem...couldn't really find the coconut in it at all. Still, a great list.
What is your opinion on Insurrection 2 wild?
I really like the set up for this channel. A man and woman, so that way you get both viewpoints of a fragrance and plus, it's one of the few fragrance channels where wrists are flapping around like they're broken.

Rehab by Initio has tobacco which doesn't hit you in the face but you know it's there. I wear it a great deal during the colder months.

Serge Lutens - Cherqui, Happyland Studios - Signature, Inito - Side Effect, Aaron Terence Hughes - Tobac, Argos - Triumph of Bacchus, Roja Dove - Creation E and even Paris Reyne - Insurrection II Wild all great tobacco frags not mentioned in this video. I realize that you can only cover so many and what you have tried just some that others might want to check into.
@Swaghook After reading your comment, I was wondering if you might be able to recommend a Tobacco fragrance. I'm looking for one where the Tobacco is front and center, but not too sweet for $75 or less. So far, it seems Aramis Havana might work for me. However, I'm still open for suggestions before I make a decision... Thanks. 😊
@@oldiesgeek454 With the $75 limit I might suggest looking into DUA Fragrances for a clone of some of the ones mentioned in the video. You can get samples from Happyland Studio for like $7 their signature is a nice honey/blueberry they also have one called Green Irish Tobacco a 50ml from Happyland will run you $55 plus shipping.

Signature is more tobacco forward but this one is a nice tobacco it is - Lemon verbena, iris, tobacco, violet leaves, vanilla, tonka bean, ambergris. it is a supposed to be a mash up of Green Irish Tweed and Tobacco. I've never smelled GIT though. There are youtube reviews of both out there.

Hey teddy. The note of tobacco for me usually veers into gourmand territory which is nice but I reckon I prefer boozy notes out of the two vice notes, so to speak.
Herod is good, but you forgot the best one i.e. Journey Man from Amouage. This is no. 1 winter frag for me and I am getting this tobacco strong vibe.
I am really into tobacco fragrances.... But over the period of time i started disliking the sweetness comes along with it(mostly vanilla and cardamom). Please suggest any tobacco fragrance which is not sweet or fruity..... Really liked all your videos, thanks in advance.. Cheers

Nice...I smelled almost all of them. Herod and Naxos do it for me...Red Tobacco is too harsh, all that medicinal oud that Mancera uses in their fragrances is sickening to me, gives me headaches. 6 months later when I see this video I can tell you that Opus XIV Royal Tobacco from Amouage would sit as nr. 1 is this were a top 13 😎 That thing is...out of this world. For all of you out there, Amouage sells 2ml samples, please try this if you love tobacco and thank me later 😎✌️ Have a blessed day.
Michael for Men Michael Kors and, Fortitude by Robert Graham are two tobacco fragrances worth sampling.
CK One Shock is a great beginner tobacco frag.
Nicotiana by Alt Fragrances ( Tobacco Vanille Clone) only better.
Tobacco Reserve by Aramis is a less sweet, not for beginners but very good one.

Creeds Royal Oud is a steller tobacco fragrance. I am a pipe and tobacco enthusiast so I know the smell of real tobacco. Royal Oud smells like walking into a cigar humidor. Not overly sweet like the ones you’ve shared. Those are like cased cavendish tobacco. Royal Oud smells like dried tobacco leaves.
You should do a review on the reformulation of Layton! People say its not the same and they raised there alcohol level to 82% vs 78% I have the old Formulation and its about three quarters full bottle...i have over 150 frags which include over 50 Tom Ford Vintage frags plus 8 bottles of Parfums De Marly! 2 bottles of Aventus and many other Creed Fragrances....Love it all...

Mancera Red Tobacco. Probably my top 3 not just Tobacco, but overall. Not for newbie for sure though. A lot of what was mentioned on this video are not really tobacco fragrance.
I have jazz club and naxos, and while naxos has a more fresh vibe that is appropriate for a tropical setting, I still prefer jazz club between the two. Jazz clubs could be a little heavy, but somehow they lack the element that causes headache.
Jazz club is potent. I got a sample and all I did is one spray. Damn it gave me a nice scent bubble for 8hrs .. But other day, I did 2spray, and it gave me a headache
If you like Jazz Club the Jovoys Pavillon Rouge and Penhaligon's Blazing Mr Sam may be in your taste,

I have Naxos and Jazz Club. Naxos is the best fragrance I've ever smelled. Not a fan of the opening of Jazz Club, but once it settles down a bit it is really special. Hour 2 to hour 9, glorious.

Keep in mind - Xerjoff Naxos will get reformulated in March. So if you want this one get it in before march or secondhand.

D&G Intenso is a very underrated tobacco fragrance
Herod, Naxos and Side Effect are the best Tobacco fragrances out there IMO. PDM Carlisle is another solid one.

I get lots of compliments when I wear Tobacco Vanille. I spray a little on my finger and dot it on, so I am not wearing a cloud of perfume.
Cannot call any list amazing tobacco without Bell'Antonio from Hilde Soliani again and again say :most realistic scent on the market by country mile,check if you are fragrance lover,Hilde is perfumer herself doing amazing job with tobacco note 👍👍👍
