I wasn't too surprised about Dick York dying of emphysema at 63, but I was shocked to learn that Alice Pierce (Gladys #1) dying at age 48. I'm 74 now, and I enjoyed watching this show.
Nice to see a new video from you Steve... grew up loving Elizabeth Montgomery, who didn't? I read recently Dick York was in love with her too, I wonder if thats true... I just find it hard to believe she died at 62 and that's how old I am now. Got my first colonoscopy 8 months ago, I feel blessed. 😌
People dying far to young to rhat awful cancer so sad. Thanks for her story and i watched Bewitched and saw her dad act and saw some of her movies. I will look for that movie you mentioned i should see. Happy New year and hope you get better luck with your channel as i enjoy you and your wife very much.
She was my first crush. Sybil Shepard was my 2nd. Boy, are we getting old eh Steve? Love your Lost in Space robot. I still also have one of those and it still works.
Elizabeth was reportedly related to Lizzy Borden, but at the time she made the movie, she didn't know they were related. I don't think that would have made a difference to her but I loved everything Montgomery did.
I never knew Montgomery attended Spence; so did Gwyneth Paltrow. It's a top tier private day school here in New York City, USA. I knew a Spence girl and she was typical - beautiful and smart and poised. Lovely family one of whose sons prepared at Dwight with me. So now I see why Montgomery had this visceral appeal for me.
In the murky depths of your heart, where doubts and fears thrive, you'll find the faint, mocking glow of your dreams. These fragile sparks, barely alive in the darkness, whisper empty reassurances. They keep you chasing an elusive dawn, ensuring you're trapped in a relentless cycle of disappointment and inevitable failure.
Actually, the Montgomery's had a home in Patterson, which Liz loved. Her cousin also lived there. Bill Asher said once that they could be mischievous. 🙂 Elizabeth was nominated nine times for Emmy's, five times for BEWITCHED, A CASE OF RAPE, THE LEGEND OF LIZZIE BORDEN, AND THE AWAKENING LAND. There's another one, but I can't remember it. She was also nominated four times for a Golden Globe award. She was related to Lizzie Borden, sixth cousin, once removed. A genealogist did a family tree on her family, after Liz's death. Elizabeth was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer in March of 1995. By then it was too late. She died eight weeks later, at her home, surrounded by her family. She didn't have a funeral, but a memorial arranged by her family o. JUNE 18, 1995.
RUclips demonetized all my videos on my channel without an explanation so I deleted all my videos, I won't let RUclips make money off my videos if I can't benefit from them. So I wouldn't be much help to you, Good luck.
I had heard she very much disliked Dick York but she liked Dick Sargent. York had serious back injury issues that made life very difficult for him on set because of constant unresolved pain and Sargent came out as homosexual in 1991. York was the much better actor I agree.
I too have heard that E.M was somehow distantly related to Lizzie Borden. Very interesting. Most of the cast lived normal lifespans. Marion Lorne and Maurice Evans lived into their eighties, as did Bernard Fox and Sandra Gould. Very sad E.M. didn't have as long a life as the others. She was so beautiful! Who didn't love her?
Do you know Ms Campbell? Best Model walk ever! And would get upset at a Housekeeper who is paid 6 Figures. Imagine that. We dont know thsse People yet you make assumptions about their life just enjoy their work. I hope your heart softens. Gods Blessings 🙏
Loved Elizabeth Montgomery!! Bewitched! Thank You for these shows🙏🏼
She was my favorite person on tv 📺
😢 Rest In Peace Elizabeth Montgomery. Thanks for sharing this video.
Thanks a lot for your channel, Steve. I‘ll be 64 this year and many of the stars you report have been stars of my youth. Thanks again!
Thanks Gunther!
My childhood and all time crush
thank you sir for sharing
So nice of you.

I LOVE human narration- thank you.. 👍🙏🙏💖

Like this format. Excellent content.
Glad to hear it!
Excellent.
Thank you Steven. Video was grim, but that's life for you.

Just saw her the other night in "On The Town", with Kelly and Sinatra.
Heck young folks. My mother died as soon as she turned 49. I've overtaken that by a lot.
Nice to see you making a new Life and sad ending video Steve.
A redo trying to comply and assimilate to the machine.
@@TheLifeandSadEnding
Good luck with that!
On a sad note, Tommy Smothers just died.
I love this channel. However, it sadly reminds me, with all the stars of my youth passing on, that I'm getting older too.
This was very nice. Very informative. I enjoyed it a whole lot!
So glad!
Absolutely loved her!

Just got my colonoscopy too. Another in 5 years if I make it that long.
Don't talk to me, a woman, about a colonoscopy haha. Never again pure agony.

You are the best Sally...Thank You!
Elizabeth Montgomery was such a beautiful and talented actress.
Interesting video, thank you
Thanks for a slightly new, and effective presentation.
Glad you liked it!
I was a child when the series was on. I enjoyed the show. I did not realise how beautiful Montgomery was,
She was my first crush. Sybil Shepard was my 2nd. Boy, are we getting old eh Steve? Love your Lost in Space robot. I still also have one of those and it still works.
As usual, it's a very good job. Thank you so much--❤😂🎉😂❤.
She was beautiful talent, I just loved her. RIP Elizabeth Montgomery...How could they destroy the house.. The house was a legend.
My birthday 🎂 twin 4/15 I loved her in “Bewitched” have all the seasons ❤
She was a real beauty! I loved her personality that came through on the various roles she played. Miss her!😐
Great content, Sir. New sub here. Thanks!
Awesome, thank you!
Thanks Steve
Suddenly they all seem so young, they are Immortal!
Yes she was a very good actress and I always liked her looks on Bewitched. Only 62 wow so young still watch that show alot.
There were sports field brawls over who was prettier, Jeannie or Samantha when I was eight

Can you do a segment on Lee Van Cleef? Not sure it was a sad ending, but definitely way too soon.
That is very sad that was demolished.
I always wanted to go see it.

Elizabeth Montgomery and Lizzie Borden were sixth cousins once removed, both descending from 17th-century Massachusetts resident John Luther.
Another like 😅

I know exactly how you feel. I just deleted most of mine.
At least he can say sad ending this time.
I’m glad she finally agreed to marry Robert Foxworth. He and James Mason were my two favorite actors. Good thing she wasn’t gigged by Young.
Wow, did not know She was Robert Montgomerys daughter. So many of these famous people died way too young :(
Thought you would have talked more of what the title said the video was about.
I am sorry Tommy. It is kinda of a cheat. At least it's mostly kinda true.
@@TheLifeandSadEnding You shouldn't do that to your audience, but thanks for replying.
RUclips has unfairly penalized me. I am just trying to get back on my feet. If you have any suggestions, I want to hear them.
Elisabeth disliked both her male ieads-York who was outstanding and Sargent who was terrible!
I had heard she very much disliked Dick York but she liked Dick Sargent. York had serious back injury issues that made life very difficult for him on set because of constant unresolved pain and Sargent came out as homosexual in 1991. York was the much better actor I agree.

Thanks very much for leaving a good comment. I used to have an autographed photo of Bernard Fox. How can I lose something like that!
I remember. fondly
So… the Life and Sad Ending of the Bewitched House?
@00:38 as long as she doesn't talk or try to have a personality that's a perfect woman. They usually ruin it trying to have a personality
I liked Alice Pierce.
Colon and prostate cancer are both detectable at early stage. Please get checked everyone.
what's with the thumbnail with simpson? to my knowledge she never went for the tootsie roll coin bank !!
She was in a movie with him.
@@TheLifeandSadEndingsees to me she would have been in many movies, tv shows etc. with many other actors ?
She got knocked down by OJ ween? Wow
I have heard she was related to Lizzie Borden.
She was flighty 😅 got around with those Directors and producers to help her career
She was a distant relation to Lizzy Bordon.
Do you know Ms Campbell? Best Model walk ever! And would get upset at a Housekeeper who is paid 6 Figures. Imagine that. We dont know thsse People yet you make assumptions about their life just enjoy their work. I hope your heart softens. Gods Blessings 🙏
It’s too bad we have Naomi Campbell and we don’t have Elizabeth Montgomery in this world
I tried to reply, but RUclips didn't like what a said. Liz was from a wealthy family and wasn't what you may think she was; and I'll leave it at that.
Little bit racist, eh?
Alas !!! Why did you get a heart for such a nasty and malicious comment? More to the point, the world will be a better place without people like you
@@heirofthenazareen3812Campbell loved Epstein.....
It's because we stopped valuing things like class and poise a long time ago. Well, most people have.
Married 4 times???? Wow…
All in their 60's, the 60's are not really old but you are not young either you are the add least 3/20 year old's!
Why did it look like she wad was married to OJ what BS
She was in a movie with O.J. and her second husband was a murderer. Everything I said is true.
She dug oh jay an ain’t dat cool
Sad. And gone too soon. One of my favorite white girls.
Good to know, I think.
Do Matthew Perry
You Do Matthew Perry! 🤢🤢🤢🤮
