I want to thank you for respecting your audience by using HUMAN NARRATION. For this reason alone (and I DO enjoy your content) YOU are a true professional in the way you produce your content. Cheers!
Glad you enjoy it!
Agree 100%!@@TheLifeandSadEnding
Thanks for bringing that up. That lack of inflection and occasional mispronunciation of words or names irritated me and I'm glad I'm not the only one. You'd think that the people who make those videos would have at least one friend with a good speaking voice. 👍
Yes! Thank you
Totally agree. Can't stand AI narrated videos. Sadly more and more are going that way.
I turned 70 in 2023. My motto is, don't wait sonny. If there's something you want to do, do it now while you still can.
Very well done! Hard to believe we’ve lost so many greats. A musician that I believe deserves your revised future recognition would be the incomparable and very talented and a very beautiful woman named Christine McVie. Had the pleasure of seeing her in the very early 70’s with Chicken Shack and a year later with Fleetwood Mac. Fell in love with her voice, looks, and musicianship immediately!! Miss her dearly!!
Wow, thank you! I believe Christine passed away last year.
I turn 81 in three weeks, I’m still hanging on. It’s tough when friends and family are passing around me. Some a lot younger than me. Then you review all the great and talented people who passed this year. It sure brings my own mortality in focus.
Thank you for such a great job, sir.
Hang in there kid, you're only 81 years old.
Wow. At 55 i feel the same way.
Look at it this way, you'll have a lot to catch up on when you meet them next!
❤
Every day is a blessing in this world.kindness to others goes a long way’ please be kind to one .
As always, presented to us with much professionalism, dignity and respect. May all rest in peace. ✝️🕊️
Happy New Year!
@@TheLifeandSadEnding ty, Happy New Year !
Thank you Steve. May all these incredible talents Rest In Peace.
Honorable mentions to Angus Cloud of “Euphoria” fame and Jimmy Carter’s beloved wife Rosalyn
Those are good suggestions. Thanks!
Melinda, Suzanne and Raquel stunning and talented women.
Hi Steve, we lost a lot of famous people this year ,may they all ,R.I.P!!! 😥🌺🥀💐🙏🕊
I appreciate the respect you showed ALL these people!! 😇😇😇😇
I don't want to say I like these types of videos, but I do really appreciate them sir. As a long time Howard Stern listener, it's nice you included Ralph. Thank you
As a child of the 80s when the music, film, and TV industries really exploded in size, I can't fathom how many celebrities we have lost and will continue to lose in the near future. I bet 75% of Johnny Carson's guests, who skewed older, are now deceased. All of the great rock and roll stars from the 60s and 70s - gotta be at least half or more. The MTV and New Wave generations! The A-List actors!
Great presentation,as usual
Happy New Year, U & Family!
I believe you forgot Mark Goddard... Got to meet him once at a ufo convention some years back. Never met any celebrities before, so for me this was a special moment for sure. He got to signed some Lost in Space pictures that he was selling that I bought from him. We even had a few pictures taken with him as well. He definitely was a true gentleman and I will always remember this moment in my life...
The older I get, the more I realize how precious time is. You can’t stall time. You can’t go backwards or forward. We only have one precious second to hold and and then it’s gone, never to live in that exact moment again. I think about all the times I was being petty when it really didn’t mattered or the lost opportunities to right a wrong. This year,…2024 …I hope and pray that I can spend each second wisely because we never know when’s it will be our last. Thank you for this video.
"You are promised THIS monent, NOT the next."
Well put.
My dad died on Jan. 12, 2023. A lot of people died in 2023. I just turned 73 on Jan. 4, 2024. Cheers from eastern TN
May your dad rest in peace.
My dear aunt passed in 2023. You're right ,a larger tide than normal seems to have left us in 2023..famous and private citizens. May all the loving souls rest in peace.
Very nice tribute.
The music of Bennett, Lightfoot and Buffett is timeless and will be enjoyed for many years to come.
Norman Lear was also one of those gutsy guys who flew in B17s over Europe in WWII.
Thank you very much!
So saddening to hear of Ed Ames's passing. He was a great singer with a rich bass/baritone voice, and one of his best records was 'My Cup Runneth Over'. Rest in peace, Ed.
If I'm not mistaken I think he was also Mingo in the old Daniel Boone show but I could be wrong I'll have to Google it. I was correct I googled it, it was Ed Ames who played Mingo
He also was noted for his infamous tomahawk toss on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson” in 1964!🤣
@@jeannehall6546 Ha! A great moment in entertainment. LOL
We lost so many pop culture figures this year. Great synopsis! RIP, y'all!
I smiled when you said that Suzanne Somers was "only 76." I remember when 76 used to be old. I love that things have changed that way.
Thank you for being respectful of everyone who passed. I agree that 2023 sucked as far as celebrity deaths were concerned. (It also sucked big time because my mother died, but that's another matter.)
Tommy Smothers' passing was the unfortunate icing on the cake for the year. He and his brother Dick were a strong part of my childhood. When I want to cheer myself up, I watch videos of them performing. Tommy was brilliant and was the "brains" of the act (despite the way he played dumb on stage). I admired him so much not just as a performer, but for having the guts to stand up to CBS censors and the White House, even though it meant his show was cancelled (which was really stupid, given that it was the #1 TV show at the time).
I agree. Also, I lost my dad just a few days after Jimmy Buffett, so yeah, that made it so much worse. I also lost the best dog in the world.
Suzanne Somers was really 77 she died a few hours before her birthday
Bob Newhart lives another year!
Make the most of what we yet may spend
Less we to unto dust decend.
I'm 83. Next year 84.
Texted this last day of 2023.
The best is yet to come.
Myles Goodwin: founder and lead singer for the great Canadian band, APRIL WINE. December 3 , 2023
Sad that you missed Terry Kirkman, one of the founding members of The Association and composer of many hit songs such as "Cherish" and "Everything That Touches You", who died of heart failure on September 23rd. After his music career, Terry helped many as an addiction counselor and Clinical Director of Music Cares
Thank you for putting this massive list together - frankly, I had no idea all of these famous celebrities had passed this year... it's heart-breaking, to be sure. May they ALL rest in eternal peace in the arms of The Almighty.
Look up the word “infamous”. In a dictionary.
@@JeanieDMost likely I'll find YOUR picture under "Super B*tch".. is my guess.
No matter who you are and how much money you have, when God calls your number it's time to go.
Getting old is a blessing.
your shows are joyous and make me so happy
It certainly was a rough year. ❤ Hope 2024 will be better.
Nicely done. Very respectful. Thank you.
Thank you kindly!
As I watched, I thought of the happiness that so many of these entertainers brought to us. One in particular is Ed Ames on the Johnny Carson show. I laugh every time I see it. Great job!
May they all RIP!! We lost some awesome people who played fantastic characters and great singers!!!
RIP to all...
But especially to....
Randy Meisner..
Gary Rossington..
Jeff Beck...
Jimmy Buffett...
Tony Bennett..
David Crosby...
❤️✝️
David Crosby blew the whistle on the JFK assassination on stage at Monterey Pop way back in 1967. RIP and much respect.
Thank You Sir for your warm & respectful voice & work in this clip of
many Beloved Stars passing on...
it was done really good & Not dragged out! which is much appreciated!
So nice of you to leave a kind comment. People are mean to me sometimes. Thanks.
@@TheLifeandSadEnding ..

depressed n lonely people or usually
somewhere along that line.. you can't

Steve I love your choice of background music. Nothing annoying! Classical music is the best! Many youtubers can take a lesson from you!
Wow, your voice is so soothing as you bring such informative sad news of those who have passed.
Kind comments like yours are always welcome. Thank you!
Time is not kind to no one a day comes when we are gone. I remember them all from my younger years never thought about getting old when I was young.
Nobody does.
Sadly I did.@@GillAgainsIsland12
Good list. I watched another channel that listed a bunch of people that I never heard of. Your list was more comprehensive by far. Thank you for making this video and sharing it. Please read
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14. All these people you have remembered had the opportunity for eternal life, as we do too. My prayer, Lord Jesus, help me to always choose life by believing in you. Amen
RIP MR. JIM BROWN. THE GREATEST EVER, YOU WILL BE SORELY MISSED MY MAN! THE BROWNS WILL NEED YOUR SPIRIT TO BRING HOME THEIR FIRST EVER SUPER BOWL THIS SEASON TO THE CITY OF CLEVELAND
Awww. I'm glad most lived a long and fruitful life.

Happy new year!!
Thank you for all your videos throughout the years, may you live to produce many more. God bless you.
Thank you. Memorials deserve a human touch and voice, and the music is lovely.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you. So many were parts of our lives we should acknowledge their passing.
I agree these stars Were Much part of our lives and I respectfully want to pay

FareWell Stars Farewell!
Thanks For Your Time & Great Talent..
it will be something Still Watching Most
of them in the future! guess that is what
I call Larger Than Life Still....
I’ve seen a handful of this type of presentation from other creators. This is the classiest: music selection, photo selection, magnificent narration, and sound mix. Truly professional! Thank you for this.
Wow, thank you!
Very great video! ❤also in 2023 Shane MacGowan - singer, songwriter, musician, lead singer of the band The Pogues, passed away 11/30/23 65 years old.
Thank you Steve! Looking forward to 2024
You did an excellent job. It’s almost impossible to remember everyone but I like the fact that you remembered some of the people behind-the-scenes. I love it, that you spoke their names and got to see pictures of them when they were in their youth and we would recognize them. Because that’s their spirits and spirits never grow old. Thank you.
Thank you for human narration!
That does not compute..........system overload.
So many that I grew up with and lived as an adult with.
I think Paul Rubens touched me the deepest. Go figure. I really liked his humor and playhouse TV show. Even joined his fan club in the 80's. The only fan club I ever joined.
Rest in peace you all.
Thanks for leaving a comment. I read every one.

Thanks for delivering this news in a respectful way.
William Friedkin. Director of The Exorcist, The French Connection and many more
Gina Lollobrigida, beautiful actress.
So Long and thanks for sharing your talents with the world! RIP!
I was also saddened to hear about Melinda Dillon. Her portrayal of Ralphie Parker's mother in A CHRISTMAS STORY was a classic.
Great in Close Encounters too.
She's known for many other movies besides A Christmas Story.
She was great in Slapshot too😢
I had such a crush on her. very sad to hear. Rest in peace
Great video, thank you
You are welcome!
This was very nice ❤so many people loved by us over the years..some of my very favorites for sure. There was another very favorite of mine that wasn't listed, he might not be known by you, but was a wonderful pastor.. Charles Stanley, he was 90 years old. Thank you 😊
I just turned 50 on xmass eve 2023 & it hits me so hard to hear that some people in their 40s just lost their lives to never get it back. That makes me feel extremly lucky to still be alive and healthy yet vulnerable at the same time. Drink less people, eat more healthy foods, excercise and be a good person because life is short.
Thank you for sharing this video. 🙏
Shane MacGowan (25 December 1957 - 30 November 2023) was a Irish singer-songwriter and musician best known as the lead vocalist and primary lyricist of Celtic punk band the Pogues.
He was also the composer of the perennial favourite Christmas song, " Fairytale of New York " among others.
Beautifully done! Thankyou...and god bless to all heavens angels xxx
Wonderful photos too. Thank you
This is my first viewing of this amazing honoring of all our favorite people, Thank you this human narrative.
Very respectful and read with metered care, kindness, and with some personal sadness especially when he noted those who died before living well in to senior years, and those who died especially tragically. Thanks you for making this collection.
Thanks Kathy.
Excellent clip! Very tasteful and heartfelt! Yes 23 was a pretty tough time!!
Thank you very much! You made my day.
Wouldnt think id have tears in my eyes for people i didnt know but they were so much a part of me growing up.
Frank Borman astronaut Gemini 7 and Apollo 8. One of the first men to go to the moon. RIP 10/7 2030 age 95
Astrud Gilberto; born Astrud Evangelina Weinert; March 29, 1940 - June 5, 2023) was a Brazilian samba and bossa nova singer and songwriter. She gained international attention in the mid-1960s following her recording of the song "The Girl from Ipanema". Wikipedia. love the song.
Randy Meisner - one of the best singer in the rock culture. If you look it is easy to find both of these great singers on uTube to experience their ART. Thank you for reminding me of some of the greatest people that have passed. Bravo
Thank you Steve I know you didn’t do it just for me, but I truly appreciate the voice over on the pictures. It meant I can enjoy them or reflect upon them even more. I wish you the best in 2024. I’m sorry 2023 was as negative as it was when it should’ve been a positive year I don’t think RUclips realizes all that you do and all the people that truly enjoy and love your show. I wish you your wife and the two dogs the best possible year in 2024. The only thing that’s scary, as my birthday gets closer and even passes some of these people, who’ve already passed away. It just means we only have so much time on this earth left and to try to make the most best of it as we can. Again wishing you the best and thank you for all your videos.
Happy New Year Keith. Thanks for your positive comments! I struggled with how I was going to make this video to satisfy RUclips. I hope people will like it like you do.
@@TheLifeandSadEnding maybe I’m crazy, but RUclips at time seems like when I was a fraternity boy and there was an extremely good looking girl in a sorority. I would do things that try to impress her. I tried to find out what she liked. I did everything I could, and I did myself with my charm, personality and intelligence, and it just seemed in the end she snubbed me and left me on the side of the road but you’ve got to keep going. You’ve gotta keep trying, and maybe by the grace of God someday she’ll look at you with those big blue eyes and say yes, yes yes but that day doesn’t happen so easy so keep fighting the good fight. I’m sure RUclips will finally understand what a great channel you have.
I watch this as it’s a reminder to me how short life is. We can go at anytime
Thank you for paying respects to the legendary Robbie Knievel and the legendary wrestlers that passed this year. Few do in these type videos..
Steve, you’ve done or outdone yourself again great video. Cheers.❤
Hey Thanks Tracy, I appreciate your kind coment.
Richard (Shaft) Roundtree
Mark (Lost In Space) Goddard
Wrestler/ Bray Wyatt
Lara (Dark Shadows) Parker
Wow. Forgot about Mark Goddard.
Thanx for this great vidio and I felt it to be over whelming too I'm 52 and feel I grew up watching a lot of these amazing ppl❤
Such tributes always lead me to long, reflective rumination...Thank you.
Good job, thank you for the time and effort you put into this.
Truly it is sad that we all die, but we have had our whole lives to prepare for it.
Thank you for presenting this Information with dignity. If you were ever called into duty it would be this one.Well done.

Perhaps not a revision but, how about a part two ?
Thank you for sharing this wonderful memorial.
Beautiful celebration of the lives.
With Sinead, I just listened to her doing an add-in for the song Belfast Child by Simple Minds. Her voice comes through loud and clear and what a beautiful voice it was. The song is worth a listen and is here on RUclips.
Raquel Welch was the most beautiful woman who ever lived. And I’ve seen aplenty.
Me too in my time. Memories like the corners of my mind.
Singer, Gary Wright, 'Dream Weaver.'
There are so many here that I had no clue had passed away. Sinead O'Connor. How did she die? Tina Turner. Jerry Springer. Jimmy Buffet.... That one stung big time.
Richard Moll of Night Court fame.
So many people that I grew up watching in film, TV, music, and sports.
Thought that they would live forever.
Well none of us do.
I shouldnt be surprised that so many have gone this year past that were around since I was a young child.
I'm turning 68 myself in a week from now.
When I was 10 or 11 my Great Grandfather who was 88 at the time told me " the longer you live the fewer people that you knew are still around".
I realize that now more than ever.
I grew up with these folks most of my families and friends are passed and I thought I’d be dead in my 30’s l-40’s ike my brother and Pop,
So here I am watching screen actors pass by the day ,every time I see one of these videos, while trying to live?” everything is collapsing around me
In slow motion time has sped up and life me behind.
Reasonable stuck between to worlds ?
Genuine and heart-felt, you did these celebrities justice. I like your style and demeanor. Thank you. For some odd reason, I have always been able to keep those who are with us and those who have passed in my head. At 74, my memory slips a bit. Thank you for the gentle reminders.
Wow, thank you!
As always an excellent vid
Happy and Healthy New Year to you and yours !👍

Glad you think so!
Thank you for letting the public know who died. My prayer is all the people who died had a relationship relationship with Jesus Christ.
Beautifully spoken eulogy for so many recognizable, talented people. Thank you, Sir.
Thanks for listening!
Rosalyn Carter the former First Lady and wife of Former President Jimmy Carter passed away recently.
Wow, so many icons from my early years are gone! Kinda reminds you of your own mortality! Thanks for doing this is person, makes it feel more personal and that is appreciated!
Glad you enjoyed it!
